The Front Bar on Channel 7 – The Front Bar returns to Adelaide. Back in SA for Gather Round, live and free on Seven and 7plus.
In exciting news for sports fans, everyone’s favourite footy show, The Front Bar, is returning to South Australia, to celebrate the AFL’s Gather Round, on Wednesday, 3 April 2024 on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Going on the road for the second consecutive year, resident patrons Mick Molloy, Andy Maher and Sam Pangwill kick-start happy hour at 8.30pm AEST, live from Adelaide Oval to open Seven’s Gather Round coverage, with all 7AFL commentators and hosts broadcasting live from South Australia.
Mick Molloy said:
“I loved Gather Round last year, but can I just say one thing: not enough football. I had nothing to do on Friday afternoon. Surely, we can fit 18 games in this time.”
Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin said:
“The 2023 outside broadcast of The Front Bar at Adelaide Oval kicked off Gather Round in the best way possible, and we cannot wait to hit the ground running for a second consecutive year.

The Front Bar kicks off a huge month for South Australians, ahead of Gather Round and followed by the highly anticipated Adelaide leg of LIV Golf – all live and free on Seven.
