Recap | Farmer Wants A Wife on Channel 7: Zac only has eyes for Maya – Emotions ran high on tonight’s Farmer Wants A Wife as Zac and Jason made their final decisions, with both farmers finding the women they hope will be part of their futures.
Adelaide apple orchardist Zac faced one of the toughest choices of the season, torn between Maya and Mieke after building strong connections with both women.
After weeks of weighing up his feelings, Zac realised Melbourne medical receptionist Maya was the woman he wanted to fight for.
“When you expressed your feelings about potentially leaving and going home, it was in that moment that I truly realised how close I was to losing you. You were someone that I absolutely wanted to fight for.”

Zac told Maya he could see a future with her and admitted he was falling for her. Maya was thrilled, saying she felt “over the moon” and that Zac was the man she had been looking for.
The romantic moment ended with one more surprise, as Zac asked Maya to be his date to his sister’s wedding. Maya immediately accepted.
But Zac’s happiness also meant heartbreak for Mieke. Although the pair had shared chemistry, Zac gently told her he did not see a future between them.
“I’m definitely a little bit heartbroken. I was falling for him, but I won’t let it stop me. I will find my person one day. It just wasn’t today.”

For Queensland dairy farmer Jason, the decision was clearer. After developing a deep connection with Poppy throughout the experience, he knew she was the person he wanted beside him on the farm.
“You’ve made me a better person. You’ve made me a better man. Poppy, I am falling for you. Will you come back to the farm with me?”
Jason
An emotional Poppy did not hesitate, telling Jason she would return to the farm with him.
Jason later reflected that he may have found exactly what he had been searching for, saying there was “a lot of potential” in his relationship with Poppy.
Before making his declaration, Jason said goodbye to Logan, thanking her for her vulnerability and telling her that his heart was with someone else. Despite the heartbreak, Logan wished him happiness.
