Jimmy Barnes and first round of presenters confirmed for the 65th TV Week Logie Awards – The TV WEEK Logie Awards today confirmed Australian music icon Jimmy Barnes will perform at this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards on Sunday 3 August at The Star Sydney.

Jimmy Barnes needs no introduction. The heart and soul of Australian rock and roll, he has 21 #1 albums, more than The Beatles, and has sold more records in Australia than any other local artist. For over 40 years, he has delivered some of our most intense and iconic live performances both as a solo performer and as front man for the legendary Cold Chisel, leading him to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of fame … twice. He is truly in a league of his own.

In addition to his phenomenal music career, Jimmy has also written three #1 bestselling books, with his acclaimed memoirs Working Class Boy and Working Class Man winning back-to-back ABIA Awards in 2017 and 2018, and his 2024 collection of short stories, Killing Time.  Never one to slow down, Jimmy released two new titles in 2021 – a 2nd children’s book, Rosie the Rhinoceros and a cookbook with his wife Jane titled Where the River Bends.

Jimmy returned to the top of the charts in June 2025 with his 21st studio album, DEFIANT, and he’ll be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of his For the Working Class Man album in December 2025.

Jimmy Barnes said:

“I am excited about playing at the Logies, television’s big night of nights.  It will be great to celebrate all the fantastic talent we have in Australian television, and to play some rock’n’roll music to get the party jumping.”

The TV WEEK Logie Awards has also confirmed the first round of presenters who will be live on stage this year including Kitty Flanagan, Hamish Blake, Leigh Sales, Sophie Monk, Tom Gleeson, Denise Scott, Michael Theo, Tara Brown, Manu Feidel, Rodger Corser, Mel Buttle, Larry Emdur, Rebecca Gibney, Zan Rowe, Chloe Hayden, Ayesha Madon, Melanie Bracewell, Tim McDonald, Richard Wilkins, John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla, Amanda Keller, Ricki-Lee, Justine Clarke, Kate Miller-Heidke, Poh Ling Yeow, Michael Usher, Emily Weir and Ray Martin, with more to be announced.

Comedian Sam Pang returns as the host of this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards exclusively on Channel 7 and 7plus on Sunday 3 August from 7pm.

The TV WEEK Logie Awards is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
