The fate of some of Summer Bay’s most loved faces will be left hanging in the balance when Home and Away on Seven and 7plus closes out 2025 with one of the most shocking disasters in the show’s 38-year history.
In Home and Away’s final week of the year, a number of the Bay’s residents board a party train en route to Off the Rails, a three-day musical festival in Broken Hill, where Remi (Adam Rowland) and Sonny (Ryan Bown) have secured a performance slot for their newest signing, Eddie Shepherd (Stephen Madsen).
Inside the train carriage, spirits are high, music is pumping and the drinks are flowing… there’s even a surprise proposal set to drop jaws.
But as music and laughter echo through the train, the festival-goers are unaware they are on a catastrophic collision course with disaster.
A deadly derailment will trigger chaos and carnage, with passengers plunged into an unthinkable nightmare. For some, it’s the end of the line. Who will survive when the impact hits?
