Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention on Channel 7 and 7plus S1E1 – Intervention n. A compassionate meeting where family and friends confront a loved one about a serious problem or other self-destructive behaviours and urge them to seek help.
Glenn and Mick’s Celebrity Intervention is a brand new primetime comedy series that gleefully flips the concept of a serious intervention on its head.
Hosted by comedy heavyweights Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy, each episode sees a well known celebrity summoned to face the music as their loved ones, peers and a few surprise guests gather to confront them about their “issues”.
Armed with razor-sharp wit, cheeky banter and a rich archive of clips, photos and stories, Glenn and Mick preside over a mock-serious intervention that lovingly exposes the wonderfully trivial, absurd and deeply unserious quirks that make each star who they are.
The result is chaotic, affectionate and delightfully revealing: the intervention no celebrity asked for, but one every viewer will want to witness.
This season features an all-star line-up including Jim Jefferies, Carrie Bickmore, Mick Fanning, Kitty Flanagan, Sam Pang, Kate Langbroek, Guy Sebastian, Layne Beachley, Dave Hughes, Lisa Vanderpump, Dr Chris Brown, Denise Scott, Tommy Little, Lizzy Hoo, Lawrence Mooney, Bron Lewis, Santo Cilauro, Amanda Keller, Peter Helliar, Urzilla Carlson, Ed Kavalee and Rob Mills.
Filmed in front of a live studio audience, Glenn and Mick’s Celebrity Intervention is produced by Molloy Boy Productions for the Seven Network. Executive Producers: Mick Molloy, Richard Molloy, Greg Sitch. International Sales by Molloy Boy Productions.
