Nurse Helen-Mary McMeekan, 65 (from Adelaide, South Australia); dog rescuer Ben Quinn, 39 (Byron Bay, NSW); World War I aficionado Murray Fraser, 49 (Yattalunga, NSW); and paralegal Monica Lenaz, 24 (Sydney, NSW) stunned viewers in a thrilling Final Chase against the formidable Anne Hegerty, aka The Governess.
The team entered the Final Chase with $41,000 before triggering the Mega Money Spinner at 13 steps. After racking up a total of 15 steps, the Spinner added a whopping $100,000 to their prize pool, taking their winnings to an incredible $141,000.
In a nail-biting finish, the team pulled off four crucial pushbacks to seal their victory over The Governess.
