Doc on Channel 7 has Felicity Huffman join cast – Nothing is forgotten forever. Felicity Huffman joins the cast of Doc Season 2, dropping 27 January exclusive to Seven and 7plus
The hit US medical drama Doc returns with its powerful second season Tuesday, 27 January, streaming from 6.00pm on 7plus and 8.30pm on Seven.
After a life-altering car crash erased eight years of her memory, Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker) continues her extraordinary journey to rebuild her career and her identity.
No longer Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital, Amy must start again from the bottom as an intern, determined to become the doctor she once was. As she confronts hard truths about the years she cannot remember, Amy works to repair fractured relationships and reconcile the person she used to be with the woman everyone else has come to know.
The emotionally charged double episode season premiere sees Amy’s past return in devastating fashion when a desperate father sacrifices everything to secure his daughter’s heart transplant. At the same time, Amy struggles with resurfacing memories while treating a pregnant patient with a mysterious and dangerous condition.
Adding further tension, Amy’s former mentor Dr. Joan Ridley (Felicity Huffman) arrives at Westside, bringing with her unfinished history and complicated expectations.
Doc also stars Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, Patrick Walker and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim.
