JOHANNA + PETE – AMAZING HOME: CREEK BED HOUSE
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a treehouse? This week, Johanna and Pete are visiting a stunning home in Brisbane’s Inner West which is just that! Named after the creeks which run below it, The Creek Bed House is built amongst the tree canopy, beautifully constructed with off-form concrete ceilings, a sunken loungeroom and an incredible solid granite kitchen island – which was so heavy, it had to be lifted in early in the build, and the rest of the kitchen built around it! But this stunning treetop location came with a unique set of problems – the site was so steep, it created huge complications for the builders and architect. The end result was definitely worth it though, and the home even won the Master Builders Brisbane ‘House of the Year’ last year. Join Johanna and Pete as they tour a home unlike any we’ve featured on the show before.

ADAM – DIVIDE & CONQUER ROOM DIVIDER
Open plan living is a mainstay of modern home design, but it does have its drawbacks. Open plan spaces can quickly become overcrowded and undefined, meaning it might look like you have lots of space, but it’s not being used to its full potential. So, this week, Adam’s sharing his solution. He’s making a solid hardwood room divider, which is freestanding – meaning it can be moved around to suit changing needs. Easy and inexpensive to make, it’s a great way to cosy up an open plan space without making any permanent changes.
COLIN – REUBEN SANDWICH
There’s nothing that says ‘New York’ more than a classic Reuben sandwich. But if you can’t afford a trip halfway across the world every time you fancy one, then Colin’s got a treat for you. He’s showing you how to make this deli classic at home, starting off with his homemade corned beef – cooked with wine, garlic and lots of herbs, then covered with a honey glaze. Served on rye bread with pickled cabbage and cucumber, Swiss cheese and a mayo-mustard-horseradish dressing, sandwiches don’t get better than this!

MELISSA – BLOOM INTO YOU FLOWER FARM
When you live just outside a country town named ‘Flowerdale,’ why wouldn’t you start your very own flower farm? That’s exactly what Tash and Hayden did when they created Bloom into You Flower Farm, where flowers are growing in rhythm with the seasons and the environment. The result is an explosion of colour all year round and the farm is truly an idyllic place to visit. Melissa’s meeting Tash and Hayden to learn more.
CHARLIE – MORE THAN JUST A LETTERBOX
No front garden is complete without a fabulous letterbox and this week, Charlie’s showing you how to make your own. He’s using recycled sleepers to create a rustic-look letterbox that’s so stunning, it’s a sculpture in its own right.
DR HARRY – DAISY THE COCKATOO
This week, Dr Harry’s meeting Daisy, a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo whose celebrating his 40th birthday this year. That’s right…Daisy is a he! And he’s very special to his owners, Sue and her daughter, Lauren. A few years ago, Sue sadly lost her husband, Bernie, the family member Daisy was closest to. Since then, Daisy has become very attached to Sue and shrieks whenever she answers the phone or tries to leave the room. Can Dr Harry convince Daisy to quieten down?
