JOHANNA – AT HOME IN A PLAY WITH LYNNE MCGRANGER
After 30 years on Home and Away, Lynne McGranger, who plays the beloved diner queen, Irene Roberts, is saying goodbye to the Bay for the final time. It’s a huge moment in the history of Aussie TV and Johanna’s catching up with Lynne to find out how she’s feeling about her curtain call, plus her big win at this year’s Logies. For her next act, Lynne’s going back to where it all began – the stage. She’s starring in a new season of The Grandparents Club, a feel-good theatre show which is touring the country. Lynne couldn’t be happier about it and she’s taking us behind-the-scenes to give us an insider look.
DR HARRY – OLD BINDI THE BIRMAN CAT
They say cats have nine lives, but Dr Harry’s about to meet one whose got a few more up her sleeve. Bindi the Birman is almost 21 years old, making her one of the oldest cats in the country. And although Bindi seems in pretty good health, there’s one way in which she’s showing her age: she’s recently started weeing on her owner’s carpeted stairs. So what’s causing this change in behaviour? And how can it be stopped? Dr Harry’s on the case.

COLIN – SAUSAGE-STUFFED ONIONS
There are so many fancy veggies out there that sometimes, the humble onion gets overlooked. So this week, Colin’s making a dish which celebrates them. Stuffed with a mix of sausage meat, breadcrumbs, smoked paprika and herbs, onions have never tasted so good.
CHARLIE – WEATHERPROOF WINTER ROOM
If you’re deck is exposed to the elements, it can be pretty unusable during the hottest and coldest months of the year. So how do you make your deck into a liveable space all year round? This week, Charlie’s showing us how. He’s turning the over-exposed deck of a typical 1950s brick home into a contemporary outdoor room…and there’s no demo involved! By updating the balustrading and adding a louvre roof structure to the existing deck, he’s creating a space which looks brand-new, without all of the costs of a new build. Complete with some gorgeous plants and outdoor furniture, the finished result is an outdoor space you can enjoy rain, hail or shine.

MELISSA – PENINSULA WILDFLOWER FARM AND FLORAL ART
Melissa has visited many beautiful flower farms over the years, but none quite as unique as this one. Peninsula Wildflowers, on the Mornington Peninsula, specialises in growing iconic Australian native wildflowers and superb proteas. Previously known as Bob’s Farm, new owners Dawn and Martin, took over the 50-acre property about five years ago and are continuing his legacy. Melissa’s meeting up with them to find out more about their passion for Aussie native flowers.
ADAM – PARQUETRY TABLE
Parquetry flooring exudes style and old-world charm…but did you know the same technique can be used on furniture, too? Adam’s showing you how to make a parquetry coffee table using Tassie oak and the finished result is a real showstopper.
JULIET – LINO ART
Mastering the art of lino cutting is a little like having your own personal printing press. Once you’ve carved your own designs into linoleum, you can transfer them onto everything from linens to clothing, paper and more. Juliet’s sharing the basics…and once you’ve got the hang of it, there’s really no end to what you can create.

ADAM – THE POWER BEHIND THE BROKEN STAIRS
There are so many benefits to living in a rural area or close to nature. But there are also a few drawbacks…as Adam is about to find out. He’s at a riverside cabin which has seen its fair share of rain and flooding and has spotty power to boot. Luckily, he’s testing out a portable power station which will not only help with electricity inside the cabin, but it’ll also power his tools! And with his tools sorted, Adam’s showing us how to repair the water-damaged cabin stairs – and it’s an easier job than you might think.
