Take an intimate look inside the glamourous world of rising Australian singer-songwriter Behani in brand-new local reality series, Behind Behani, premiering Wednesday, 16 October at 9.30pm on 7Bravo and 7plus.
In an eight-part series, recording artist Rebekah “Behani” Behbahani shares the highs and lows of pursuing music stardom on a global stage, while learning to balance motherhood, her love-life, and everything in-between.
Having already caught the attention of chart-topping musicians and producers abroad, collaborating with GRAMMY® Award-winning artists DJ Khaled and Ne-Yo, Behani’s profile continues to rise.
In true popstar fashion, Behani along with her fiancé, prominent investor and philanthropist Alex Waislitz (OAM), and their daughter Storm jet between Melbourne and the United States in pursuit of Behani’s relentless ambition to succeed as an artist and businesswoman managing her music career.
Already making her mark in Australia, Behani has released five singles which have amassed over 10 million streams. Her debut single Real Man featuring R&B star Ne-Yo catapulted into the pop stratosphere and was soon followed by Medicine, Pretty Beast, Again & Again, Do It and Comfortable featuring Tyga. Behani will be opening for Ne-Yo on his upcoming arena tour across Australia and New Zealand, performing for some of the biggest audiences of her career.
In episode one, we meet Behani amid her American press tour as she prepares for her first live television performance on Good Day New York. Behani shares her fast-paced, glamorous world, as she travels across the US by private jet with her entourage including a stylist, choreographer, vocal producer, social manager and devoted glam squad, led by celebrity hairstylist, Jet Presley. Her creative team make sure Behani looks every inch the popstar while filming the music video for her single Comfortable with chart-topping rapper, Tyga.
The season sees her meet some major career milestones, navigate challenging hurdles, spend special moments with her daughter, and plan one of the biggest events in her life: her wedding. Intimate, entertaining and filled with highs and lows, Behind Behani pulls back the curtain and takes viewers along for an incredible ride of ambition, adventure, luxury, and love.
