7 Upfronts 2026 | More Information from the Upfronts – The Seven Network has unveiled its ambitious 2026 programming slate and strategic vision, positioning itself as Australia’s leading full-spectrum video business, with growth anchored across broadcast and digital.
At its first Upfronts ‘26 presentation, Seven West Media CEO Jeff Howard said the network is “doubling down on what works” — delivering content that drives audience and advertiser results across all platforms.
Seven confirmed that 2026 will feature its biggest-ever year of sport, including the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, the Rugby League World Cup, The Ashes, AFL, Supercars, and LIV Golf, alongside a packed entertainment slate led by My Kitchen Rules, Australian Idol, The Voice, Farmer Wants a Wife, The 1% Club, The Front Bar, and Home and Away.
The new lineup also includes Caught In The Middle, My Reno Rules, SAS: Australia v England, and a new Mick Molloy comedy show, alongside Tina Arena: Unravel Me, First Dates Australia, and The Mental As Anything Story.
Seven also announced major business developments, including a new Westpac DataX partnership and the launch of 7GeoPlus, a precision geo-targeting advertising solution for 7plus. The network’s digital platform has grown rapidly, now engaging more than a million daily users and delivering over 6,000 hours of new exclusive content next year.

Seven’s 2026 Strategy
Seven executives, including Angus Ross (Managing Director, Television) and Gereurd Roberts (Managing Director, Digital), emphasised that the network’s model — combining premium Australian content, hit international formats and full-year sport — continues to deliver unmatched reach.
Ross said Seven “reaches millions of Australians every day across every screen,” while Roberts highlighted 7plus as a “must-have entertainment destination that rivals subscription platforms — only it’s completely free.”
The presentation also reinforced Seven’s dominance in news, with 7NEWS, Sunrise, The Morning Show, and 7NEWS Spotlight continuing to hold top positions in their timeslots.
With 2026 shaping up as Seven’s biggest content year yet — and a few late schedule changes now confirmed — viewers can expect another 52-week slate of major events, hit entertainment and homegrown favourites, live and free across Seven and 7plus.
