Universal Pictures is thrilled to unveil The Wicked Wardrobes – Universal Pictures Australia is thrilled to announce a one-of-a-kind partnership with Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW) for this November’s cinema release of Wicked: For Good, the epic conclusion to last year’s worldwide sensation, Wicked, which shattered box office records and earned 10 Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture.
Wicked fans and costume lovers are in for a spellbinding treat with a free, Australian-first exhibition at Fed Square. The showcase will spotlight Oscar®, Emmy® and Tony®-winning designer Paul Tazewell’s extraordinary costumes created for Elphaba and Glinda in both films.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Paul Tazewell shares:
“Melbourne has such a vibrant arts scene and a deep appreciation for theatrical storytelling. It’s the perfect city to showcase the inventive style, craftsmanship and detail that went into creating the world of Wicked.”

From October 13, visitors can marvel at the intricate craftsmanship and boundless creativity behind these breathtaking looks for two of cinema’s most iconic characters. The exhibition offers a rare chance to experience the magic up close and in-person ahead of the film’s release.
