Unstoppable on Prime Video first look – Amazon MGM Studios is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of “Unstoppable,” an inspiring and powerful true story of Anthony Robles, portrayed by Academy Award-winning actor Jharrel Jerome. “Unstoppable” chronicles Robles’ remarkable journey as he defies every expectation to become a national wrestling champion, despite being born without a right leg.
“Unstoppable” marks the directorial debut of William Goldenberg, a decorated Academy Award-winning editor known for his exceptional work on films like Argo (for which he won an Oscar), The Imitation Game, Zero Dark Thirty, Seabiscuit, and The Insider. Goldenberg brings his unparalleled storytelling expertise to this highly anticipated film.
The film boasts an all-star ensemble cast, including Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Don Cheadle, and Jennifer Lopez. Anthony Robles himself appears in the film, credited as the ‘Anthony Robles Double,’ performing the complex wrestling moves and stunts. Robles is also a producer on the film, ensuring authenticity and accuracy in the portrayal of his inspiring story.
In preparation for the role, Jharrel Jerome trained rigorously for months, working closely with Anthony Robles to embody the physicality and determination required to bring this extraordinary character to life.

The screenplay, written by Eric Champnella, Alex Harris, and John Hindman, captures the essence of perseverance and the human will to overcome obstacles.
