The Summer I Turned Pretty on Prime Video Prime Book Club Live launch – Prime Video’s Prime Book Club LIVE fan event took place last night at Machine Hall in Sydney.
A first of its kind event for fans, Prime Book Club LIVE brings together on-screen and author talent from some of Prime Video’s biggest book-to-stream hits.
Best-selling author and showrunner for The Summer I Turned Pretty Jenny Han, along with series stars Lola Tung and Rain Spencer, appeared at the free event as well as Mercedes Ron, best-selling author of the Culpable trilogy. The event was hosted by writer, comedian and broadcaster Lucinda Price (aka Froomes).



























Prime Book Club LIVE champions Prime Video’s most popular series and film adaptations, uniting book lovers and binge-watchers alike.
Through immersive activations and panel discussions, the event brought to life The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Culpable Trilogy (My Fault, Your Fault, Our Fault), We Were Liars and more. Fans heard first-hand from Prime Video’s author and on-screen talent, the storytelling journey from page to screen. The event also featured a special #BookTok panel presented by TikTok.
The third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is streaming now, with a new episode each Wednesday. This week Prime Video revealed that Season Three has drawn 25 million viewers globally on Prime Video through its first 7 days and delivered global viewership growth for the second consecutive season, exceeding Season Two by 40% through its first 7 days (The series viewership has tripled from Season One to Season Three over the same time frame). The Summer I Turned Pretty Season Three is the #1 most-watched TV season among Women 18-34.
Mercedes Ron is the author of the best-selling Culpable trilogy.
The Spanish-language YA movies My Fault (Culpa Mia) and Your Fault (Culpa Tuya) have achieved huge success, and in December last year, Your Fault became Prime Video’s biggest international original launch ever. The final chapter in the trilogy, Our Fault (Culpa Nuestra) is launching in October.
The Culpable trilogy has expanded with an English-language version, My Fault: London and recently filmed Your Fault: London. Mercedes has two other upcoming projects with Prime Video – Tell Me Softly, launching in December and Marfil and Ébano, the adaptation of her Enfrentados duology.
