- Road House attracted a record-breaking over 50 million worldwide viewers on Prime Video over its first two weekends, becoming Amazon MGM Studios’ most-watched produced film debut ever on a worldwide basis.

- Road House hails from Amazon MGM Studios and is written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry. Joel Silver produces the Doug Liman-helmed film, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Joaquim de Almeida, Conor McGregor, and Lukas Gage, among others.
- The film premiered as the opening night film of the 2024 SXSW Film Festival and had global premieres in London and New York. Additionally, Road House talent were featured on covers of New York Magazine, Men’s Health (in their first-ever digital cover), Total Film, L’Officiel, GQ Korea, and more.
- There was also an in-show integration for the film with ESPN SportsCenter the week of the film’s release, including a custom on-air segment, in-studio digital signage, and hosted voiceover. Other marketing activations included a sponsorship of the UFC 299 fight in Las Vegas and high-profile placements across sports and broad entertainment channels.
- The 1989 MGM film Road House is also available now for fans of the cult favourite and included with a Prime membership. Synopsis
Road House stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter trying to escape his dark past and his penchant for violence, in this adrenaline-fueled actioner. Dalton is barely scraping by on the reputation that still precedes him when he is spotted by Frankie (Jessica Williams), owner of a roadhouse in the Florida Keys.
She hires him to be her new bouncer in hopes of stopping a violent gang, working for crime boss Brandt (Billy Magnussen), from destroying her beloved bar. Even five to one, Brandt’s crew is no match for Dalton’s skills.
But the stakes get higher with the arrival of ruthless gun-for-hire, Knox (Conor McGregor). As the brutal brawls and bloodshed escalate, the tropical Keys prove more dangerous than anything Dalton ever faced in the Octagon. Also starring Daniela Melchior, Joaquim De Almeida, Lukas Gage.
