Michael C. Hall Makes Epic Return To The Dexter® Franchise In Two Series For Paramount – Dexter®: Resurrection And Previously Announced Dexter®: Original Sin. Coming Exclusively To Paramount+.
As part of its expanding Dexter Universe, SHOWTIME has announced the return of Michael C. Hall in the new series Dexter: Resurrection and the previously announced origin story Dexter: Original Sin.
The announcement was made by a surprise appearance from Executive Producer and star Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) alongside Executive Producer and Showrunner Clyde Phillips (Dexter, Nurse Jackie) at San Diego Comic Con during the Dexter: Original Sin panel, which is currently in production.
Golden Globe® and SAG Winner Michael C. Hall will return as Dexter Morgan in both series – he will star in Dexter: Resurrection set in the present day and narrate the inner voice of a young Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) in Dexter: Original Sin which takes place in the 90s.

In 2021, Dexter: New Bloodpremiered, a limited series set ten years after the conclusion of the original, and instantly became SHOWTIME’s most watched and most streamed original ever.
All previous seasons of Dexterand Dexter: New Blood are currently available to stream on Paramount+.
