Coming up on Netflix in 2025 – You’re not ready to get swept into a murder mystery that haunts the Tassie coast in The Survivors

You’re not ready for Theo & Nathan Saidden to bring more laughs to the character you love in their series Son of A Donkey;

You’re not ready for THAT pink turtleneck in Apple Cider Vinegar.

“No matter what you’re looking forward to this year, there’s no way to be completely ready for what’s next on Netflix,” said Bela Bajaria, Netflix Chief Content Officer, at the company’s annual showcase of films, series and games coming in 2025.

As Bajaria said, “With more than 700 million people watching, we can’t just be one thing. We need to be the best version of everything” from TV series and films to games. Sharing highlights from the upcoming slate, she predicted that 2025 could be Netflix’s biggest year ever.

Aussie stories – The Survivors, Son of A Donkey and Apple Cider Vinegar join returning fan favourites such as Stranger Things, Wednesday and Squid Game; new films like The Electric State and Frankenstein; the best-of-unscripted and Live Events including Million Dollar Secret, NFL Boxing Day Games, WWE and more will be released on Netflix in 2025.

A peek into what’s to come for Aussie stories include:
