Youth on HBO Max adds Rupert Friend – HBO Original comedy series Youth, from BAFTA-winning and Emmy®-nominated actor, writer, and producer Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters, Catastrophe), has added Rupert Friend (Jurassic World: Rebirth, Homeland) to the cast.
Youth follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown up son.
Youth is produced by Merman. Sharon Horgan stars in, writes, and executive produces the series. Additional executive producers are Faye Dorn (Merman), Jim Kleverweis, and Dawn Shadforth, who will also direct.
