October on Hayu – Hayu highlights for the month of October include House of Villians, Below Deck Mediterranean and Winter House.

House of Villians

October of Hayu

Hayu brings together 10 iconic and infamous reality television villains under one roof for the new competition elimination series House of Villains. Hosted by Joel McHale, the series will be available to stream only on Hayu from October 13.

Hailing from some of the most popular reality television franchises, these notorious villains meet their match as they must outsmart, out-manipulate and out-scheme each other through a series of challenges in order to win a $200,000 cash prize and the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain.”

Each week the contestants compete in a battle-royale challenge that tests their physical, mental and emotional strength. The winner of the challenge is safe from elimination and at the end of the week one villain is sent home. It’s the battle of the century as alliances are made, trusts are broken and the villains scheme their way to the top.

MEET THE VILLAINS

Anfisa Arkhipchenko

Originally from Russia, Anfisa Arkhipchenko skyrocketed to fame in 2016 while starring on 90 Day Fiancé as she documented her memorable relationship on-camera. Since her appearance on the reality series, Anfisa has graduated from college and found success in the fitness industry.

Johnny Bananas

Champion of MTV’s The Challenge seven times, Johnny Bananas is ready to notch another victory on his belt and do what he does best – bring down the house – on House of Villains. Known for his strong athletic abilities, methods of manipulation and dynamic sense of humour, Johnny isn’t a reality star, but a reality supernova to be reckoned with.

Shake Chatterjee

As America’s favourite (and possibly only) veterinarian/DJ combo, Shake Chitterjee is no stranger to living life on his own terms – even if it means ruffling a few feathers along the way. Since his time on season two of Love Is Blind, Shake has brought his talents from the Windy City to sunny Miami, where he continues to save puppies by day and drop beats by night.

Jonny Fairplay

Jonny Fairplay is a reality TV icon and a Survivor Hall of Famer where he created his infamous move, “the Dead Grandma Lie.” He’s been featured on more than 90 individual television shows, most notably winning Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding and being the only co-host of Fear Factor. He’s a proud father to his two children, Finn and Madilyn, and hosts his own podcast, The Reality After Show with Jonny Fairplay.

Bobby Lytes

Born in Miami, rapper and entrepreneur Bobby Lytes made history as the first openly gay main cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, breaking boundaries in the hip-hop industry. Since the show’s premiere in 2018, Bobby has become renowned for his unapologetic point of view, charismatic demeanour and show-stopping style. In addition to his music career, Bobby has a passion for fashion, cooking and the arts.

Corinne Olympios

Corinne Olympios burst on the scene in 2017 as the breakout star of season 21 of The Bachelor. Her hilarious quips, unconventional style and unapologetic strategy on The Bachelor made her a hot topic in pop culture. She didn’t go on to win the final rose, but any true fan would agree she’s the best Bachelor villain of all time.

OMAROSA

Reality television icon OMAROSA made her first reality appearance as a contestant on the first season of The Apprentice in 2004. Since then, she has appeared on numerous spin-offs of The Apprentice as well as Fear Factor and Celebrity Big Brother. In addition to her television portfolio, OMAROSA is an accomplished businesswoman and has thrived as an executive in real estate and development. She previously served as the Director of Communications for the Office of Public
Liaison in the White House and was an aide in the Office of Presidential Personnel as well the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). OMAROSA is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and a much sought after motivational and inspirational speaker.

Tiffany “New York” Pollard

Known for her sharp wit and funny moments, Tiffany “New York” Pollard is an original reality television legend. She made her debut on Flavor of Love in 2006 and was quickly dubbed a fan favourite. She then starred in her own spin-offs I Love New York, New York Goes to Hollywood, New York Goes to Work and, more recently, Brunch with Tiffany. A self-proclaimed “Head B*tch in Charge” (HBIC), Tiffany is a firecracker and not one to be messed with.

Jax Taylor

International television personality and former model Jax Taylor has rapidly made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Jax starred in breakout hit series Vanderpump Rules for eight seasons and became one of the most polarising figures on the show. Most recently, Jax, with his wife Brittany Cartright, appeared on the popular series Watch With the Cast, where they shared their views on the latest drama of Vanderpump Rules season 10. Currently, Jax hosts his top-rated podcast with his wife, When Reality Hits – With Jax and Brittany, for Podcast One.

Below Deck Mediterranean

October on Hayu

Season eight of Below Deck Mediterranean will be available to stream on Hayu from September 26. Captain Sandy Yawn and Stews Natalya Scudder and Kyle Viljoen return for the new season, joined by fan-favourite Tumi Mhlongo, who crosses over from Below Deck Down Under as Chief Stew. New crew members include Chef Jack Luby, Bosun Ruan Irving, Deckhands Luka Brunton (Below Deck Down Under), Haleigh Gorman and Lara Du Preez, and Stew Jessika Asai.

Below Deck Mediterranean is produced by 51 Minds. Nadine Rajabi, Wes Denton, Mark Cronin, Shane Maroufkhani, Tania Hamidi, Christian Sarabia and Zachary Klein executive produce.

Coming up this season:

Set amidst the mesmerising Italian Riviera and the historic façade of Genoa, Italy, it’s all hands on deck this season for Captain Sandy and her team. From outrageous guests to after-hours antics, the boat gets rocked throughout each charter as the crew navigates complicated dynamics and unexpected rifts. In a franchise first, unprecedented staffing changes dominate the season, which tests each department as they struggle to find their sea legs through unforeseen turnover.

Sandy levels up from last season with the 180-foot M/Y Mustique, which challenges her deck crew as they attempt to navigate the busy industrial port with utmost precision. Before they even leave the dock, visa issues tie up two crew members while a department head mismanages important paperwork. Sandy leans on temporary help for the first charter and an unexpected shake-up results in a change of hierarchy.

On deck, the crew is overwhelmed by their workload on the oversized vessel as the interior deals with a clash of personalities.

Chef Jack wows the guests with his impressive take on local Italian fare, but things start to sour when communication goes south.

Between “friends with benefits” and open relationships, there’s no shortage of boat-mances and boat break-ups. When disagreements impact productivity and former friendships start to implode, Sandy is faced with a wave of difficult decisions.

Dive into la dolce vita with the brand-new season of Below Deck Mediterranean, streaming on Hayu from September 26, same day as the USA.

Winter House

October on Hayu

Get ready for fresh powder, surprising new faces and a flurry of drama when Winter House returns for the third season, available to stream only on Hayu from October 25. For the first time, the ultimate Hayu crossover heads west to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where an eclectic group of Hayu celebrities will stay under one roof for an unforgettable two-week vacation.

Housemates include Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke and Danielle Olivera of Summer House; Katie Flood, Alex Propson and Malia White of the Below Deck franchise; Tom Schwartz of Vanderpump Rules; Jordan Emanuel of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard; Brian Benni of Family Karma; and Casey Craig making her Hayu debut. Also visiting the cabin this season are Jason Cameron of Winter House; Sam Feher of Summer House; and Rhylee Gerber, Aesha Scott and Captain Sandy Yawn of the Below Deck franchise.

About the housemates

• Despite being the only married man in the house, Kyle Cooke (Summer House) still loves to party with his single friends and hopes to watch sparks fly between them. He’s looking forward to getting some work-free time to bond with his wife, Amanda Batula (Summer House), but after a sudden illness delays her arrival out west, an even more unexpected situation comes their way.

• After a stressful year including a divorce, business struggles and now being in the thick of one of the biggest pop culture scandals of all time, Tom Schwartz (Vanderpump Rules) is ready for a much-needed escape to reconnect with himself. While finding a relationship is not on his list of priorities this vacation, he finds himself surprised to be crushing on a housemate while struggling to allow himself to finally move on from his past.

• Fresh out of a breakup, Danielle Olivera (Summer House) is fragile but ready to put herself back out there. Hoping to move forward from a relationship she didn’t want to end, she’s looking for a hot vacation hook-up and quickly finds herself falling for one of her housemates. She’s excited about this potential romance, but will her insecurities prevent her from doing what she really wants?

• Jordan Emanuel (Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard) is the queen of putting herself in uncomfortable positions in an effort for self-growth. She comes to Steamboat for just that as she tries winter sports for the first time and aims to land a fling for the two-week vacation. However, Jordan is taken aback when a few of the men in the house don’t immediately fall for her charming ways.

+

• Feeling the steady pressure from his parents, Brian Benni (Family Karma) is ready to meet “the one” and settle down. In the hopes of living out his very own rom-com in a winter wonderland, Brian casts a wide net, but his unique way of flirting doesn’t seem to be immediately reciprocated by the women of the house. Will he be able to find the girl of his dreams to keep him warm?

• Kory Keefer (Winter House) arrives at the house ready to party and in a bit of a grey area with Sam Feher (Summer House), whom he met last summer. With no official label on their “situationship,” Kory tries to figure out how much freedom he has, especially after catching the eyes of a few of his new single housemates. Will he cross the line… once he figures out where it lies?

• After a long-term relationship and seven-month dry spell, yachtie Malia White (Below Deck Mediterranean) is looking for some action off the water and is ready to showcase her old stomping grounds of Colorado to the rest of the group.

• Single and ready to mingle, Malia’s bestie Katie Flood (Below Deck Mediterranean) has spent the better part of the last decade travelling the world, making connections wherever she goes. However, when she finds herself connecting with someone in the house who’s the opposite of her usual type, she wonders if she’ll be able to handle such a sensitive guy.

+

• Trading in his flip-flops for snow boots, Alex Propson (Below Deck Sailing Yacht) arrives from Fort Lauderdale with his long hair and free-spirited attitude. A natural-born flirt, Alex wastes no time getting to know the ladies in the house but is quickly called out by one for his game being a bit too obvious.

• Casey Craig is a cryptocurrency professional and former competitive skier who is ready to take a break from her demanding job and show off her skills on the mountain as she establishes herself in this new group of friends.

Winter House is produced by Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Trish Gold and Brittany Nabors serving as executive producers.

Hayu has its steamiest ski trip yet as Winter House heads west for season three, available to stream only on Hayu from October 25.
