August 2024 on Hayu – highlights include The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and The Real Housewives of Durban.

The Real Housewives of Johannesburg
Season 3 • From Friday 3 August
Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg will be available to stream only on Hayu from August 3. Lebo ‘Jojo’ Mokoena, Lethabo ‘LeJoy’ Mathatho, Keabetswe Marema, Thobekile Mdlalose, Nicole Watson and Mamus Koka will join the highly anticipated show for this brand-new season.
Season 3 will follow the all-new group, with some familiar faces, of six dynamic women as they
navigate their lives and get a glimpse into their lavish lifestyles, friendship dynamics, romantic
relationships, as well as everything else in between. The show highlights both their successes and
struggles in their personal lives as well as the drama that unfolds when the six get together.
From fashion to philanthropy and social influence, these women have made their mark in
Johannesburg, sharing their lives as they juggle careers, family life and jam-packed social calendars,
while we take a candid look at what it takes to make it in Mzansi.
Find out who the dynamic The Real Housewives of Johannesburg cast members are:
● The Real Housewives of Johannesburg audiences know Lebo ‘Jojo’ Mokoena’s old soul. Last
time around, all of her ventures were tied to her ex-husband, but now she is setting out on
her own. Currently, the host of a podcast and radio show is in the process of self-discovery.
Lebo is ready to see what life looks like as a single businesswoman. Lethabo ‘LeJoy’ Mathatho is no stranger to the Real Housewives of Johannesburg franchise, returning from Season 2 hoping to change the narrative and reintroduce herself. This time around, Lethabo wants to use her platform to support and uplift the boychild – all while building her empire. With a thriving career and having achieved huge success over the years, is Lethabo ready for the next big step in her life?
● Born and raised in Soweto, Keabetswe Marema, a mother of three will take viewers into her
interesting yet complicated family dynamic as well as the opulence of her day-to-day life as
she embarks on a journey of self-discovery and healing. As she sets out on finding her
passions and financial freedom from her ten-year marriage, Kea’s story is one of love,
sacrifices and trauma. Her goal is to encourage women to love themselves first and to realise
that it’s never too late to find their happiness and everything else they deserve.
● An ambitious entrepreneur, serial investor, and traditional healer, Thobekile Mdlalose knows
how to get the action rolling. The advocate for healthy lifestyles has been an avid worker
from a young age, however, she had her career fine-tuned and her ambitious spirit set alight
by her husband who gave her all the business tools and tricks she needed.
● Dynamic serial entrepreneur and newly divorced Nicole Watson has the right mix for a
reality television personality. She has taken on the challenge of creating successful
businesses while dealing with challenges in her personal life. Miss Know It All does not shy
away from a “teachable” moment with her castmates, has a plethora of international
connections and celebrity friends and while dedicated to her son, she makes time for the
Nicci Lee Watson Foundation which is centred on youth development.
● Mamus Koka’s life is very colourful, with twists and turns on the way to becoming a force to
be reckoned with. By day she works as an HR administrator for an NGO organisation and by
night, on occasion, she shares content on her YouTube channel where she talks about a
variety of topics while also hosting a podcast with her husband called, Couple of Things.
Despite her desire to continuously learn and grow, Mamus does not enjoy hard work in life,
even if she can if necessary.
The Real Housewives of Johannesburg is produced by Sonia Mbele Films.

The Real Housewives of Durban
Season 4 • From 17 August
Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Durban will be available to stream only on Hayu from August 17. Returning for this brand-new season are original housewives Nonku Williams and Sorisha Naidoo. Jojo Robinson returns for her third season, while Maria Valaskatzis and Slindile Wendy Ndlovu return for their second.
Ameigh Sibahle Thompson, Nqobile “Angel” Ndlela and Zamaswazi Ngcobo join The Real Housewives of Durban for the first time.
About the cast:
● Ameigh Sibahle Thompson, aka Amanda Sosibo, is a mother of two who works in the
pharmaceutical industry but is currently on a much-needed break. Ameigh is also the founder
of the Fundisiwe Foundation, named after her late mother. As a new cast member, Ameigh
believes that she has a lot to bring to the show. “I decided to join The Real Housewives of
Durban because I absolutely love trying new things. I also wanted to experience this and to
challenge myself. I believe being a part of the franchise will not only present many
opportunities but will also place me out of my comfort zone.”
● Born and bred in Howick, Nqobile “Angel” Ndlela now lives in Umhlanga. She is a serial
entrepreneur with business interests in construction, taxis, manufacturing and fashion design.
An aspiring musician, host and social influencer, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is also pursuing a career in the same field. “I joined the show because I feel like this is the right time for me,” says Angel. “I am in a good space and I want to introduce myself to the world. I know that The Real Housewives of Durban has a big fanbase and when the opportunity came, I just had to grab it with both hands.” At 28 years old, Angel is the youngest member of the cast. “I want the world to see me grow,” she says. “I want to get married and have kids on the show; that is the long-term plan.”
● Radio and TV personality Zamaswazi Ngcobo grew up in Eshowe in Zululand. Having worked
on some of the biggest platforms the industry can offer, she joined The Real Housewives
because she loves a challenge and doing things that people think she should not: “I have had
an illustrious career and I have done almost everything except reality TV. So when the call
came, I knew that it was something that I am supposed to do, to tap into a new industry, even
though so many people warned me against reality TV.”
The Real Housewives of Durban is produced by Let It Rain Films.
