A multi-part docuseries from Emmy®-nominated Maxine Productions (Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV) and featuring original reporting in partnership with Emmy ®- winning Rolling Stone Films, The Fall of Diddy features exclusive, never-before-heard accounts and never-before-seen archival footage, offering personal insights into harrowing allegations of violent behaviour and alleged illegal activity that have shadowed the music mogul.
Monday 13 January 2025 – Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ (WBD) today announced the highly anticipated docuseries, The Fall of Diddy, will premiere on Wednesday 5 February at 9.30pm on Investigation Discovery (ID), available on Foxtel, Fetch and Binge. The four part series will air in double episode blocks over two weeks.
Spanning Combs’ decades-long impact on music and popular culture, from his early days as a talented creative to his 2024 arrest, the docuseries uncovers the insidious and terrifying allegations of sexual assault, abusive behaviour, violence, and other disturbing claims that lay beneath his success.
From those who saw his alleged violence and temper during his college days at Howard University and the onset of his career with Bad Boy Records, to those who knew him at the height of his influence and power in recent years, The Fall of Diddy covers decades of mounting allegations.
The project features more than 30 interviews with a wide array of voices, from those who accuse him of abuse to former friends and colleagues, as well as employees who worked inside his home and had intimate knowledge of his day-to-day activities including: D. Woods, a member of Danity Kane who opens up for the first time about her experience with Combs behind the scenes; Danyel Smith, former Editor-in-Chief of VIBE Magazine who charted Combs’ career and speaking on camera for the first time about his alleged violent behavior toward her; Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, former producer for Combs during the making of the Love Album, who alleges that Combs sexually harassed him; Reverend Conrad Tillard, once known as the hip hop minister, he was a spiritual advisor to Shyne when he, Combs and Anthony Jones were on trial for the 1999 nightclub shooting; Thalia Graves, a woman who alleges that Combs violently raped her in the summer of 2001 – and threatened her into silence; Jourdan Cha’Taun, Combs’ personal chef from 2007-2010 who details her experience working for Combs publicly for the first time; Natania Griffin, who was shot in the face during the 1999 nightclub shooting; Wardel Fenderson, Combs’ former personal driver who is speaking on camera for the first time and testified that Combs attempted to bribe him; Tim Patterson, Comb’s childhood friend who reveals new details of Combs’ upbringing; Rolling Stone reporter Cheyenne Roundtree; journalist Mara S. Campo; makeup artist Mylah Morales who says she witnessed Combs’ abuse of singer Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura; Dr. LaJoyce Brookshire, Combs’ first publicist from 1995-1997 who helped shape his early image; Roger Bonds, a bodyguard for Sean Combs from 2003-2012 who sheds light on the behaviour he witnessed from Combs, as well as accounts from new voices yet to be announced, including those coming forward for the first time with deeply disturbing accounts of their encounters with Combs.
Through these interviews combined with a vast collection of archival footage, The Fall of Diddy paints a holistic picture of a mogul who is alleged to have wielded his extensive power and influence to obscure, for decades, a pattern of abuse and violence that left an unprecedented amount of pain and suffering in his wake.
The Fall of Diddy is produced for Investigation Discovery by Maxine Productions and The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), both part of Sony Pictures Television, in association with Rolling Stone Films.
