High Country: What Lies Beneath on Binge new cast announced – BINGE today announced new cast to join acclaimed actress Leah Purcell AM (The Drover’s Wife The Legend of Molly Johnson, Wentworth) for the new season of crime drama, HIGH COUNTRY: WHAT LIES BENEATH with cameras now rolling in Victoria.
This new eight-part season welcomes Brendan Cowell (Plum, Avatar), Ryan Corr (Kangaroo, House of the Dragon) and Nadine Garner (Savage River, The Doctor Blake Mysteries) to the cast, joining returning stars Ian McElhinney (Games of Thrones, Derry Girls), Sara Wiseman (Watching You, Territory), and Aaron Pedersen (Jack Irish, Mystery Road).
The hit series received a standout debut that captivated audiences across Australia and overseas, including strong viewership on BBC1 in the UK and Hulu in the US.
It was the most-streamed series on Binge in both March and April 2024 following the launch of Season 1.

Filming is once again taking place amid the breathtaking Victorian Alps, with locations across Jamieson, Mansfield, Eildon and greater Melbourne capturing the region’s dramatic beauty and spirit.
