Colin from Accounts on Binge season 3 begins production – BINGE today announced production has commenced on the third season of the Gotham, AACTA and Logie award-winning series Colin from Accounts from Australian creators, writers and stars Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer and Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios.

The romantic comedy about two flawed, funny people choosing one another returns in the humiliating aftermath of Gordon’s failed proposal in the season two finale. Gordon and Ashley’s fate hangs in the balance — as does Colin’s.

Returning cast members for season three include Emma Harvie (RFDS, In Limbo), Genevieve Hegney (All Her Fault, Sunny Nights), Michael Logo (Love Me, Ghosts: Australia), Helen Thomson (The Last Anniversary, Elvis), Darren Gilshenan (Dark City, A Moody Christmas), Virginia Gay (Mother and Son, Safe Home), Annie Maynard (Upper Middle Bogan, Playing Gracie Darling) and Tai Hara(Return to Paradise, Home and Away).

Season three sees Thomas Cocquerel (All Her Fault, Gilded Age), Nikki Shiels (The Last Anniversary, Prosper) and Mark Trevorrow (The Bob Downe Show, Kath & Kimderella) join the cast.

Brammall and Dyer said:

“After the season 2 cliffhanger, it would be cruel not to show you all what happens next, and we can’t wait for you to see it. Getting to make this show continues to be a total thrill for us, and we’re pumpled (pumped & humbled) that people have enjoyed the first two seasons so much. That’s what they say to our faces, anyway.”

Executive producers Rob Gibson and Ian Collie of Easy Tiger Productions said:

“It’s pure joy to return to our beloved Colin From Accounts with Harri, Patty and our brilliant cast and crew, along with some exciting new additions for season three. Thank you to our wonderful partners at Binge and CBS Studios for their unwavering commitment and support over the journey. We’re so excited for Colin fans around the world to see what’s next for Ashley, Gordon and Colin.”

Lana Greenhalgh, Director of Scripted Originals, Foxtel Groupsaid:

“Bold, original Australian storytelling is at the heart of Foxtel Group’s scripted strategy, and Colin From Accounts is a perfect example of how local stories can connect with audiences here and around the world. Patrick and Harriet lead a phenomenal cast, and we’re delighted to see Gordon, Ashley and Colin return in season three as production gets underway across Sydney.”

Karla Lampe, Acting Executive Director, Screen NSW said:

“Colin from Accounts is one of NSW’s greatest local IP export stories in recent years and it’s exciting to see production is underway in Sydney on the third season. Screen NSW is thrilled to support Easy Tiger Productions, co-creators Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, and the entire creative team, bring another season of this globally loved series to life.”

Colin from Accounts continues BINGE’s commitment to delivering premium Australian stories that resonate globally, shining a spotlight on Australian culture, humour and stories.

Season one of the 8-episode series launched in Australia to widespread critical and audience acclaim, breaking records to become the Foxtel Group’s most watched original scripted series of all time. The series has been a global success, premiering across the world including in the UK on BBC and the US on Paramount+ to rave reviews, with a certified fresh score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Internationally, the hit comedy series won the Gotham TV Award for Breakthrough Comedy Series in 2024, with Dyer taking home the award for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series.

The series was also nominated for a BAFTA TV Award in 2025 in the International category. In Australia, the beloved series received a collective 19 nominations for the 2024 and 2025 AACTA Awards, including Best Narrative Comedy Series, which it won in 2024; Best Acting in Comedy for Brammall, Dyer, Thomson and Hegney; Best Direction in Drama or Comedy, Best Screenplay in Television; Best Editing and Best Casting in Television, as well as eight Logie nominations across the two seasons including wins for Most Outstanding Comedy Program, Most Outstanding Actor for Brammall and Most Outstanding Actress for Dyer in 2023.

Colin from Accounts is produced by Easy Tiger Productions (The Twelve, Territory, Scrublands) and CBS Studioswith Rob Gibson, Ian Collie, Patrick Brammall, Harriet Dyer, Trent O’Donnell, Lana Greenhalgh and Daniel Monaghan serving as executive producers and Kevin Greene producing.

O’Donnell returns for a third season to direct four episodes, with Madeleine Dyer also returning to direct four episodes.
