Lions at Taronga Zoo predict the winner of first British and Irish Lions tour Test Match on Stan – The ultimate showdown just got wilder! Stan Sport has unleashed a one-of-a-kind prediction piece where real-life lions put their paws on the line to forecast the winner of the first Wallabies vs. British & Irish Lions Test match, kicking off this Saturday 19 July at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.
In a captivating encounter blending the raw power of the animal kingdom with the thrill of rugby, the majestic lions were presented with two tempting piles of ‘milkcicle’ treats — each decked out in the colours of the competing teams.
As the big cats made their choice, Wallabies stars Joseph Suaalii, Andrew Kellaway and Angus Bell were on hand to witness the prediction unfold, alongside Stan Sport legends, former Wallaby and 2001 Lions Tour veteran Matt Burke and commentator Sean Maloney.

Returning to Australia for the first time since 2013, The British & Irish Lions Tour is one of the most anticipated events on the global rugby calendar with more than 50,000 international fans set to descend down under.
Having already swept aside the Brumbies, Waratahs, Reds, and the Invitational AU & NZ side to remain undefeated, the Lions are now primed for an epic Test series showdown.
Taking place against a resurgent Wallabies side this Saturday at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, two more Tests will follow at Melbourne Cricket Ground (26 July) and Sydney’s Accor Stadium (2 August).
The 2025 British & Irish Lions Tour headlines a blockbuster lineup of rugby on Stan Sport over the coming months including the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, The Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup, Rugby SVNS, Super Rugby Aus and the Autumn Nations.
