Scotty James wins silver for Australia at Milano Cortina on Channel 9 – In his fifth Olympic Winter Games, Scotty James had a dominant performance to claim silver for Australia in the Men’s Snowboard Halfpipe at Milano Cortina 2026.
James’ highest score came in his second run, where he laid down a massive 93.50. He was just eclipsed by Japanese star Yuto Totsuka, who secured the gold with a winning score of 95.00.
Having made his Olympic debut as a 15-year-old at the Vancouver 2010 Games, he has since climbed the podium steps with a bronze at the PyeongChang 2018 Games and silver at the Beijing 2022 Games.
This is Australia’s second medal of the day after Josie Baff won gold in the Women’s Snowboard Cross earlier. This takes Australia’s medal tally to three including Cooper Woods’ gold in the Men’s Freestyle Ski Moguls.
