Scotty James and Valentino Guseli into the Snowboard Halfpipe final at Milano Cortina on Channel 9 – Australian medal hopefuls Scotty James and Valentino Guseli have secured their spots in the Men’s Snowboard Halfpipe final at 5.30am AEDT on Saturday, February 14.
James is competing in his fifth Olympic Winter Games and on the hunt for the one prize missing in his trophy cabinet, an Olympic Winter gold. He currently holds a a silver (Beijing 2022) and a bronze (PyeongChang 2018).
At just 20 years old, Guseli is the ultimate all-rounder and the only rider in history to medal in all three snowboard disciplines Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Big Air in a single World Cup season.
The pair made history in 2024 as the first Australians to take the top two spots on a World Cup podium and will be looking to repeat that feat on the world’s biggest stage.
