With adrenaline-packed events like downhill skiing, luge and snowboarding big air taking centre stage, younger Australians have been captivated and highly-engaged, with the coverage reaching 2.9 million viewers in the key demo of People 16-39 across Total TV.
Nearly half that demographic – 43% – has been watching solely via 9Now, further cementing the country’s move towards Broadcast Video on Demand (BVOD) consumption.
Nine’s coverage keeps growing, with 5.1 million people tuning in on Day 6 across Total TV, an increase of +5% on the previous day.
Adding in Stan Sport’s comprehensive coverage of every event in full, Nine has ensured broadcast sponsors and brands are at the centre of coverage that is resonating with Australians, sharing in a national cultural moment as athletes take on the alps of Milano Cortina. The most viewed disciplines on Stan Sport so far are snowboarding and the various skiing events.
