NRL Round 4 fixture on Channel 9 and 9Now – The Broncos host the Raiders as the sixth and seventh-ranked teams fight to climb the ladder in Round 4 of the NRLW competition, live and free on the 9Network.
Nine’s coverage begins at 11.00am AEST on Saturday. The Broncos, after a dominant win over the Cowboys, with powerhouse centre Mele Hufanga scoring four tries, face a Raiders outfit coming off a tough loss. They’ll be looking for more spark from Maddison Bartlett after she bagged a double in Round 3.
Then at 12.45pm AEST, the fifth-placed Titans meet the Cowboys. Titans skipper Georgia Hale played herself to a standstill last week with an amazing total of 59 tackles. She’s the defensive rock the Cowboys need to overcome. Similarly, the Cowboys will be looking to a big game from their hard-working lock Tiana Raftstrand-Smith.
For the latest women’s rugby league news, viewers can turn to the Westpac NRLW Wrap from 2.30pm AEST on Saturday, with Emma Lawrence, Ruan Sims, Allana Ferguson and Marlee Silva.
Nine’s NRLW coverage continues with the Sunday triple-header. In the first game at 12.00pm AEST, last-start winners, the Dragons and Roosters, meet at WIN Stadium in Wollongong.
At 1.45pm AEST, the ladder-leading Sharks take on the fourth-placed Knights, who bested the Sharks 22-14 in their last encounter and fancy their chances of repeating the dose.
Closing out the round, the Wests Tigers play the Eels. Eels halfback Rosemarie Beckett, who scored twice in Round 3, looms as a big threat. The Tigers, who are struggling in attack, hope last week’s sole try-scorer, winger Tess Staines, can help them climb off the bottom of the table.
