David Riccio calls out the Bulldogs for basic errors
CP: “Crichton looks like he’s going to be out for an extended period of time, what is happening here with the dogs?”
AW: “They are leaking a lot of points obviously. I think it is coming down to their attack – their attack isn’t helping their defence. I believe Matt Burton is the centre of that club, and I think Sean O’Sullivan came on 30 mins into the game. To come off the bench, when you’ve lost your strike weapon in Stephen Crichton, there were question marks over whether Xerri comes on to play – he didn’t”.
LK: “It was probably the talking point of the weekend. When Stephen Crichton went off, what was Cam Ciraldo to do? Was he to put Xerri onto left centre? He ended up bringing Sean, and he said in the press conference it was for communication reasons. I wonder if he had his time again, would he have put Xerri in?”
DR: “They have to fix their discipline. They need the football to score points.”
AW: “It’s the fundamental errors though…”
CP: “Fundamental errors… it’s a very quick fix right?”
