Spicy Seven Game Schedule as NFL Playoff Race Heats Up in Week 11 NFL on ESPN – ESPN brings a stacked seven game schedule for Week 11 NFL with crucial clashes including the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles, divisional foes Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers, plus the NFL’s trip to Madrid, Spain.
The Week 11 schedule kicks off on Friday November 14 at 12.15pm AEDT on ESPN when the New York Jets tackle the New England Patriots.
The New England Patriots are rolling this season, locked in a three-way battle at the top of the AFC Conference with Indianapolis and Denver.
New England outlasted the Buccs in Week 10 and will be strong favourites to continue the winning run against the New York Jets.
The Jets have won two games in a row – the brightest spot in another frustrating season. Stretching that to three against their divisional rival would be one of the best wins in recent years for the New York franchise.
Monday November 17 sees a marathon of NFL with five games back-to-back and over 20 hours of live NFL across the ESPN, ESPN2 and Disney+.
The NFL heads to Madrid, Spain with the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins meeting in an International Series showdown at 1.30am AEDT on ESPN.
Washington (3-7) and Miami (3-7) arrive in Spain, with an outside chance of making the playoffs.
Not yet mathematically impossible, but an unlikely run to the post-season must start in Madrid.
The Dolphins were impressive in Week 10, seeing off the Buffalo Bills 30-13.
At 5am AEDT on ESPN, two NFL playoff contenders collide when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off with the Buffalo Bills.
Tampa Bay lost a tight Week 10 clash with the New England Patriots 28-23, sliding them down the NFC standings.
Buffalo were also disappointing last time out, falling to the 3-7 Dolphins in a lackluster showing.
The Bills must respond against the Buccaneers or risk falling into a logjam of teams forming on the NFL playoff bubble.
Also kicking off at the same time on ESPN2, the two AFC North rivals clash when Cincinnati Bengals play Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers remain at the top of the AFC North, despite defeat last round.
Cincinnati risks losing touch with the NFL playoff race, having lost back-to-back games, as injury concerns start to bite.
With the Ravens, Chiefs, Texans and Jaguars sitting above them, pressure starts to rise on the Bengals and their post-season hopes.
The NFL blockbusters continue on a massive Monday morning with the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos facing off at 8.25am AEDT on ESPN.
The Chiefs will be refreshed coming off a bye last round.
Kansas City will need to respond from defeat to divisional rivals Buffalo in Week Nine and now arrive against the current #2 seed Denver.
The Broncos are one of the stories of the season so far and Denver can signal they are a true contender this year by dispatching the Chiefs and potentially claim the AFC top spot in the process.
Concluding ESPN’s 20+ hour NFL blitz are two NFL Super Bowl hopes, defending champion Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions at 12.15pm AEDT on ESPN.
After a disappointing fortnight, Detroit returned to winning ways with a convincing win over the Commanders last round.
The defending Super Bowl winners will test whether the Lions are back to the force they showed they can be in the last couple of seasons.
A loss to the Eagles could see them slide outside the wildcard position in the NFC.
The Week 11 schedule concludes on Tuesday November 18 at 12.15pm AEDT with the Dallas Cowboys colliding with the Las Vegas Raiders.
At 2-7 it is very unlikely that Las Vegas will be playing playoff football, but that doesn’t mean they can’t ruin the chances of those hoping to contend for the post-season.
Whilst the Raiders have shown improvement in recent games, it has not yet registered to wins.
Dallas have not been able to find any consistency this season and their playoff hopes are quickly sliding away.
They simply must win and keep winning, to have any hope of joining the post-season. A game that will define the Cowboys season and playoff chances from here on out.
