NFL on ESPN week 5 2024 fixture – ESPN delivers NFL fans a massive SEVEN games in Week Five, including the NFL’s trip to London for the blockbuster clash between the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings.
Week Five action begins on Friday October 4 at 10.15am AEST when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers battle the Atlanta Falcons.
A crunch early season clash between two sides in the NFC South.
Tampa Bay currently sits atop at 3-1, with Atlanta just a game behind at 2-2. Both sides were winners in Week Four – the Falcons downed New Orleans 26-24 and Tampa Bay impressing 33-16 over the Eagles.
Monday October 7 sees FIVE games back-to-back, almost 25 hours of NFL for those celebrating the long weekend.
The NFL’s trip to London kicks off the marathon at 12.30am AEDT, with the New York Jets facing the Minnesota Vikings.
Minnesota have been one of the hottest sides to start the season, sitting 4-0.
Both teams were either side of thrilling finishes in Week Three – the Vikings prevailing 31-29 against Green Bay, whilst the Jets lost 10-9 against Denver, dropping New York to 2-2 after the first month.
At 4am AEDT on ESPN the Buffalo Bills challenge the Houston Texans.
The Bills were brought back to earth after a crushing 35-10 defeat to Baltimore handed them the first loss of the season.
Houston is similarly positioned at 3-1 after storming home late to see off the winless Jaguars in Week Four.
Also, at 4am AEST on ESPN2, the Indianapolis Colts tackle the Jacksonville Jaguars.
An all- AFC South contest, where one team is firmly in the race and the other clinging to their season.
The Jaguars sit 0-4 and questions are being asked about the future of coach Doug Pedersen.
A loss to the 2-2 Colts could see big change in Jacksonville and also end their playoff hopes after just five games.
Following at 7am AEDT, the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers collide.
The Cardinals were stunned by the Washington Commanders last round, trounced 42-14.
Next up are their NFC West counterparts the 49ers, who themselves captured a crucial 30-13 victory over the New England Patriots.
Concluding Monday’s NFL bonanza at 11.15am AEDT, the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers go head-to-head.
The Cowboys secured a much-needed victory in Week Four, overcoming the New York Giants 20-15 in an important NFC East clash.
Pittsburgh will look to respond from their first loss of the season, dropping an agonizing 27-24 defeat to the Colts.
Tuesday October 8 sees the New Orleans Saints battling the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs sit undefeated after the first month of the season, already enjoying a two-game lead in the AFC West.
New Orleans is locked in a tightly contested NFC South alongside the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will not want to give away too much ground to those above.
