Dakar Rally 2025 on SBS and SBS on Demand – Taking place in Saudi Arabia for the sixth time, the 47th edition of the Dakar Rally is an annual rally raid famous for its tough terrain and off-road endurance.
Part adventure, part marathon, the Dakar Rally pits hundreds of drivers and riders against one another in various vehicle categories such as cars, bikes, trucks and quads.
The 2025 edition begins with a prologue, followed by 12 stages and a rest day.
Five Australian competitors will compete in the 2025 edition; Daniel Sanders, Toby Hederics and Andrew Houlihan will feature on two wheels, with Toby Price, having departed KTM, moving to four wheels alongside navigator and fellow Dakar winner Sam Sunderland, where they will be joined by Classic entrants Peter and Christopher Schey.
Stage highlights will air Sunday – Saturday at 5.00pm, with a special Toby Price Dakar 2025 preview premiering at 6.00pm on Sunday, 5 January at 6.00pm.
