Week Six NFL on ESPN brings another jam packed schedule, headlined by the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs clash and the red-hot Philadelphia Eagles meeting the Dallas Cowboys in an all NFC East showdown.
ESPN will bring NFL fans a total of six live games in Week Six. The Live NFL action begins on Friday October 14 at 11.15am AEDT, when the Chicago Bears take on the Washington Commanders.
Friday’s clash looms as a must-win for both, as the Bears (2-3) and Commanders (1-4) look to turn their difficult start to the new season around.
The Bears were without luck in their Week Five defeat to the Vikings, whilst Washington also pushed the Titans, losing by four.
Victory could just be the spark both need to begin the climb back up the standings.
Monday is another massive marathon of live NFL on ESPN, with four games back to back.
First up at 4am AEDT, live on ESPN, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers collide with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tom Brady and the Buccs have yet to hit their stride this season. Sitting 3-2 after the opening five weeks of the season and atop the NFC South is no cause for alarm, but you feel they are a team with another level in them.
The Steelers will hope they do not see that next level on Monday, as Pittsburgh battle at the bottom of the AFC North, with just one win from their opening five.
Not the place you want to be, with Tom Brady looming on the fixture list.
Over on ESPN2 at 4am AEDT, the New York Jets face a test against the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are back from their trip to London, which ended in defeat to the New York Giants.
It’s a game the Packers didn’t want to drop, as they sit behind the Minnesota Vikings in the conference.
It will be difficult for Green Bay to get New York from their mind, with the Jets headed to Lambeau for this week’s showdown.
The Jets are one of the most improved sides in the NFL and sit just one win behind the lead of a tight AFC East conference.
A win over Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on home soil, will have the Jets prospects souring.
Following at 7.25am AEDT, the Kansas City Chiefs take on Buffalo Bills in a mouthwatering affair.
The Chiefs stormed back from behind in Week Five, to edge the Raiders 30-29 in Monday Night Football.
Buffalo are living up to their early season expectations as a Super Bowl contender.
A clash between Conference leaders and two sides with identical 4-1 records after Week Five – the two top prospects in the AFC get a chance to showcase their Super Bowl credentials early in the season.
It’s also another chance to witness the QB duel between stars Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.
It was the Chiefs who ended the Bills Super Bowl dream last season, prevailing 42-36 in the game of the season.
The must-see game of the week begins at 11.20am AEDT on Monday, with the Philadelphia Eagles colliding with long-time rival Dallas Cowboys.
Philadelphia have been the story of the season so far, maintaining a perfect 5-0 record, to lead the division.
Lincoln Financial Field will be rocking with the arrival of longtime foes, the Cowboys, who currently sit just one game behind Philadelphia in the NFC East standings at 4-1.
Dallas may look to rush back injured QB star Dak Prescott for the crunch showdown with the Eagles. But in his absence, Cooper Rush continues to answer the critics, steering the Cowboys to an impressive 22-10 win over the Rams last round.
The Week six action concludes on Tuesday at 11.15am AEDT when the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos go toe to toe.
The pair are currently locked in the battle behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, and the Broncos must not let this slip, otherwise they will hand critical advantage to the Chargers.
Los Angeles come into Week Six riding back to back victories, whilst Denver fell agonizingly short in over-time against the Colts last round.
ESPN, ESPN2 and the ESPN App* bring all the NFL action for fans in Australia and New Zealand, with NFL RedZone available from 4am AEDT each Monday on the ESPN App*.
