The Kings secured their passage to the Championship Series sweeping the Perth Wildcats 2-0 in the Semi Final series.
After a heart stopping 105-104 win in Game One, Sydney showed their class disposing of the Wildcats in Perth in Game Two.
Sydney will again be led by star Kendric Davis, who managed 27 points in the series securing win over the Wildcats.
Makuach Maluach also produced a career best with 23 points with Torrey Craig and Matthew Dellavedova also supporting.
Sydney finished the regular season in top spot on the NBL ladder, having exploded to life after a slow start to the campaign.
The Adelaide 36ers secured their place in the NBL Championship Series following victory in the win or go home deciding third game against the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
The Adelaide 36ers finished in second spot on the NBL ladder but were pushed to the wire in their Semi Final series against the Phoenix.
Former Sydney King DJ Vasiljevic returned to the Adelaide starting side against the Phoenix, scoring 27 points, and NBL MVP Bryce Cotton continued to deliver with a massive 38-point haul in the deciding game three.
Cotton has claimed five of the last eight NBL MVP awards and his battle with Kings star Kendric Davis will be a key talking point throughout the NBL Championship Series, as the two best players in the league go head-to-head with it all on the line.
