Every game of the AFLW season live on Kayo Sports – The AFLW’s milestone tenth season is set to ignite this week, with every match to be shown live and ad-break free during play on Kayo Sports.
Fans won’t miss a moment of the AFLW on Kayo Sports this season, beginning with a blockbuster opening night double header this Thursday from 6:30pm.
Rivals Carlton and Collingwood will go head-to-head at IKON Park to begin the season, as they did in the competition’s first edition, before West Coast hosts Gold Coast at Perth’s Mineral Resources Park.
Other round one highlights include undefeated 2024 AFLW Premiers North Melbourne opening their defence of the cup against Geelong on Saturday, while beaten Grand Finalists Brisbane commence their campaign against Hawthorn.
Fox Footy’s world class line up of commentators and experts will power the coverage, led on Thursday night by Kelli Underwood OAM, Daniel Harford and Lauren Wood, with Brihony Dawson and two-time All-Australian Emma O’Driscoll boundary side at the Blues v Pies and Eagles v Suns matches respectively.
They will be joined on the coverage throughout the season by a host of former and current stars of the women’s game, including:
- Australian Football Hall of Fame member Debbie Lee
- AFLW legends Chyloe Kurdas and Kirby Bentley
- Western Bulldogs 2018 Premiership player Ellie Blackburn,
- Current club captains Ruby Schleicher (Collingwood), Meghan McDonald (Geelong) and Hannah Priest (St Kilda)
- Fellow current players Sarah Hosking (Richmond), Bonnie Toogood (Essendon) and Jordyn Allen (Collingwood)
- West Coast men’s premiership player Will Schofield.
All 108 matches across 12 rounds of the 2025 AFLW season, plus all Finals including the Grand Final, will be live and ad-break free during play on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
The beginning of the AFLW campaign coincides with the penultimate round of the men’s competition, featuring a host of crucial matches in the Finals race.
Nine teams remain in contention for the 2025 AFL Finals series, with clashes between Fremantle (4th) and Brisbane (5th) on Friday, then Gold Coast (6th) and GWS (8th) on Saturday to prove decisive. On Saturday night, Adelaide (1st) can put one hand on the Minor Premiership should they defeat Collingwood (3rd).
