Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 187 000 and an average audience lead of 151 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #6 with 1 342 000 (860 000). The 1% Club UK was #5 with 1 365 000 (785 000). The Front Bar was #13 with 1 105 000 (543 000). Talking Footy was #30 with 510 000 (168 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 556 000 (972 000). The Block was #3 with 1 745 000 (970 000). Paralympics 2024 Day 7 – Night was #15 with 1 006 000 (589 000). Paralympics 2024 Day 7 – Night Session 2 was #12 with 1 108 000 (384 000).

The Project was #17 with 812 000 (343 000). Thank God You’re Here was #11 with 1 123 000 (585 000). Gogglebox was #14 with 1 039 000 (540 000). An encore of Have You Been Paying Attention was #37 with 452 000 (178 000).

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 179 000 (720 000). Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction was #19 with 778 000 (435 000). Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee was #24 with 666 000 (419 000). Planet America was #26 with 652 000 (383 000).

SBS

Secrets of Our Universe with Tim Peake was #44 with 373 000 (163 000). A repeat of Dan Snow’s Greatest Discoveries was #48 with 330 000 (155 000).

  • Wednesday’s broadcast of the 9Network’s exclusive coverage of the Paralympic Games Paris 2024 secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.682 million across Channel 9, 9Gem and 9Now. 2.352 million were reached on Broadcast TV while BVOD 369,000 were reached on 9Now.
  • Paralympic Games Paris 2024 Day 7 Night recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.006 million and a Total TV National Audience of 589,000.
  • Paralympic Games Paris 2024 Day 7 Night Session 2 recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.108 million and a Total TV National Audience of 384,000.
  • Paralympic Games Paris 2024 Day 7 Late recorded a National Total TV Reach of 696,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 229,000.
  • Paralympic Games Paris 2024 Day 7 Afternoon  recorded a National Total TV Reach of 343,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 81,000.
  • The Block was the No. 1 program on Wednesday night with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.745 million, a Total TV National Audience of 970,000, up 6.7% on the same night last year, and a BVOD audience of 153,000 – up 35.6% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.913 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.142 million – up 5.7% when compared to the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 96,000 was up 70.5% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No.1 afternoon game show with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.238 million and a Total TV National Audience of 618,000, lifting the timeslot by 36.1% when compared to the same day last year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People, People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.556 million and a Total TV National Audience of 972,000. It secured a BVOD audience of 85,000 – up 51.3% on the same night last year.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across the 5 City Metro and Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 780,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 306,000. Its BVOD audience was 34,000 – up 29.4% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro and with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform across Australia with Total People and all key demos.
