- 9News was the No.1 program of the night across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.985 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.246 million (up 12.0% on the same night last year). Its BVOD audience of 89,000 was up 22.5% on the same night last year.
- Impressively, the 9News bulletin in Melbourne was 70,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor.
- Tipping Point continues its dominance in the afternoon timeslot as Australia’s No.1 afternoon game show, as well as winning the timeslot in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.482 million and a Total TV National Audience of 782,000 – representing a 50.1% timeslot lift when compared to the same day last year.
- A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.618 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.076 million. It recorded a BVOD audience of 73,000 on 9Now.
- The Summit recorded a Total TV National Audience of 558,000 and a BVOD audience of 63,000.
- Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 782,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 317,000. It was the No.1 breakfast program in Sydney and Melbourne. Its BVOD audience of 34,000 on 9Now was up 32.8% on the same morning last year.
- Today Extra was the preferred morning program in Sydney and Melbourne. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 453,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 177,000

Biggest BVOD Audience Ever On 10 Play, Up 35% Year-on-Year.
You herb it right, last night, eliminated contestants on MasterChef Australia were given a second chance to cook their way back into the competition with Sav’s Sri Lankan banquet securing her return to the kitchen.
MasterChef Australia:
- 1.12 million total national viewers reached.
- #1 in its timeslot in 16 to 39s.
- 35,000 live stream viewers, up 53% on the same episode last year.
- Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (148,000), up 35% on 2023 average.
Also, last night, 10 News First was up 30% week-on-week and Deal Or No Deal was up 8%.
Last week, with 7-day viewing, MasterChef Australia (Wednesday, 22 May).
