Seven News was #1 with a clean sweep in all markets. Seven News 6.30 was #2 with wins in Melbourne and Adelaide. There was no 6.30 news bulletin in Perth on Nine due to State of Origin. Home and Away was #11 with 470 000. Animals Aboard with Dr Harry was #19 with 253 000. The Front Bar aired at 8.30 in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and at 9.30 in Sydney and Brisbane and was #20 with 250 000. Ambulance: Code Red returned to the line-up, airing at 8.30 in Sydney and Brisbane and at 9.30 in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #29 with 165 000. The Latest: Seven News was on 83 000. A repeat of Death Row: Countdown to Execution Part 1 was on 53 000.
Nine
Nine News was #4 with no wins in any market. The Perth bulletin aired at 5pm due to State of Origin. Nine News 6.30 was #5 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. State of Origin Rugby League QLD v NSW 3rd – Match was #1 with 1,476 000. State of Origin Rugby League QLD v NSW 3rd – Pre Match was #6 with 693 000. State of Origin Rugby League QLD v NSW 3rd – Post Match was #9 with 545 000. 2023 Wimbledon Day 10 – Night was on 115 000.

The Project 6.30pm was #26 with 210 000. The Project 7pm was #16 with 399 000. MasterChef Australia – Wednesday was #13 with 455 000. A new episode of Riptide was on 155 000. So Help Me Todd aired a new episode to 73 000.

ABC News was #7. 730 was #12 with 469 000 viewers. Utopia was #10 with 498 000, but look for that number to double in Total TV. Gruen was #14 with 415 000. Gold Diggers was #33 with 159 000. Queen of Oz had an audience of 107 000. Adam Hills: The Last Leg was on 97 000.

- State of Origin – Game 3 is the third highest rating program of the year.
- State of Origin – Game 3 recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 471,000 (up 2% year-on-year).
- State of Origin – Game 3 completely dominated its timeslot with all key demos and Total People across the 5 City Metro.
- The 9Network and Channel 9 comprehensively won Wednesday with all key demos and Total People.
SERIES HIGHLIGHTS:
- The 2023 State of Origin series recorded an average Live BVOD Audience of 523,000 (up 23% year-on-year).
- State of Origin – Game 2 smashed all records, achieving the highest ever Live BVOD Audience of all time against all broadcasters. The match recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 563,000 (up 43% year-on-year). This equates to 64.2 million minutes (up 46% year-on-year) and 1.2 million stream starts (up 21% year-on-year).
- State of Origin Games 2, 1 and 3 are the top 3 live streamed programs of the year to date against all broadcasters.
The 2023 State of Origin Series recorded an average Total TV audience of 3.077 million – the highest series average since 2018.
