Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 231 000 and an average audience lead of 176 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 341 000 (903 000). The 1% Club UK was #4 with 1 591 000 (874 000). The Front Bar was #10 with 1 230 000 (617 000). Talking Footy was #27 with 574 000 (229 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #6 with 1 412 000 (901 000). Olympics 2024 Day -2 – Let the Games Begin was #2 with 2 066 000 (572 000). A repeat of Beyond the Dream was #21 with 649 000 (266 000). A second repeat of Beyond the Dream, this time, Matildas: The Rise was #42 with 381 000 (143 000). Olympics 2024 Day – 2 – Late was #46 with 335 000 (154 000).

The Project was #15 with 797 000 (341 000). Bondi Rescue – episode 1 was #29 with 566 000 (320 000). Bondi Rescue – episode 2 was #34 with 520 000 (322 000). FBI: International was #31 with 548 000 (227 000). A repeat of NCIS was #24 with 625 000 (111 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #11 with 1 191 000 (716 000). QI – episode 1 was #16 with 786 000 (419 000). QI – episode 2 was #25 with 607 000 (415 000). Planet America was #13 with 830 000 (439 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.932 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.212 million – up 6.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 101,000 was up 82.0% year-on-year. 
  • Olympics 2024 – Let the Games Begin won in Sydney with all key demographics. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.066 million and a Total TV National Audience of 572,000. It secured a BVOD audience of 53,000.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No.1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.416 million and a Total TV National Audience of 750,000, lifting the timeslot by 61.5% when compared to the same day last year. 
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.412 million and a Total TV National Audience of 901,000. It secured a BVOD audience of 76,000 – up 58.2% year-on-year.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 817,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 353,000 – up 18.6% year-on-year. Its BVOD audience was 38,000 – up 49.5% on the same morning last year.

9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform across Australia with People 25-54 and People 16-39.

Seven takes Wednesday, #1 in all demos
