Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 62 000 and an average audience lead of 84 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 288 000 (904 000). Clarkson’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire UK was #9 with 1 238 000 (539 000). The Front Bar was #15 with 1 054 000 (591 000). Unfiltered was #25 with 612 000 (363 000). Nurse Georgie Carroll Sista Flow 2.0 was on 401 000 (103 000). St Denis Medical was on 70 000 (41 000).

Beat the Chasers UK – 406 000 (191 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 560 000 (1 068 000). The Hundred with Andy Lee was #3 with 1 670 000 (755 000). The Grand Tour was #11 with 1 163 000 (324 000). 9News Late was on 381 000 (201 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was on 166 000 (56 000). Wild Cards aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was on 124 000 (45 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 123 000 (66 000).

Tipping Point UK (R) – 593 000 (340 000)

Deal or No Deal was on 520 000 (287 000). The Project was #17 with 1 895 000 (370 000). MasterChef Australia – Wednesday was #10 with 1 198 000 (625 000). Elsbeth was #18 with 828 000 (267 000). NCIS: Origins was on 319 000 (109 000). 10’s Late News was on 167 000 (109 000).

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #6 with 1 387 000 (922 000). Gruen Nation was #13 with 1 155 000 (800 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #14 with 1 066 000 (696 000). Planet America was #19 with 814 000 (487 000). Big Boys was on 497 000 (174 000). Mayfair Witches was on 157 000 (46 000). ABC Late News was on 142 000 (41 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It was also Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.118 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.326 million – up 8.6% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 117,000 was up 44.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.560  million (up 8.8% year-on-year) and a Total TV National Audience of 1.068 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 88,000 – up 44.3% on the same night last year.
  • The Hundred with Andy Lee won the 7.30pm timeslot with People 25-54 and 16-39 across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.670 million and a Total TV National Audience of 755,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 62,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.465 million (up 18.1% year-on-year), a Total TV National Audience of 835,000 and a BVOD audience of 69,000 – up 56.8% year-on-year. Yesterday was the third highest rating episode of all time. Two of the three highest rating episodes of all time have both occurred this week.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 776,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 327,000 and a BVOD audience of 37,000 – up 12.1% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with key demos People 25-54 and People 16-39.

Legendary Australian chef, Shannon Bennett, was in the MasterChef Australia kitchen last night. After his demo, the contestants had to create the most delicious dish in 20 minutes to win immunity and be safe from Sunday’s elimination.
