Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 130 000 and an average audience lead of 115 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 355 000 (903 000). Clarkson’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire UK was #9 with 1 305 000 (575 000). The Front Bar was #13 with 1 088 000 (552 000). Unfiltered was #24 with 649 000 (328 000). A repeat of Carl Barron: Skating Rink for Flies was #35 with 433 000 (100 000).

Beat the Chasers UK – 411 000 (207 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 572 000 (1 036 000). The Hundred with Andy Lee was #3 with 1 581 000 (696 000). Breakthrough: The Rise of Women’s Rugby League was #17 with 846 000 (257 000). 9News Late was on 199 000 (102 000). The Grand Tour was on 332 000 (90 000). NRL Wrap: Women’s State of Origin Special was on 245 000 (81 000). Wild Cards was on 138 000 (45 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 136 000 (63 000).

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 341 000 (794 000). Gruen Nation was #12 with 1 120 000 (809 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #14 with 980 000 (692 000). Planet America was #20 with 766 000 (508 000). Big Boys was #46 with 358 000 (143 000). Mayfair Witches was on 121 000 (40 000). ABC Late News was on 150 000 (42 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It was also Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.052 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.289 million – up 9.3% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 121,000 was up 42.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.572 million (up 18.4% year-on-year) and a Total TV National Audience of 1.036 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 90,000 – up 45.2% on the same night last year.
  • The Hundred with Andy Lee secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.581 million and a Total TV National Audience of 696,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 62,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.452 million (up 9.2% year-on-year), a Total TV National Audience of 785,000 and a BVOD audience of 72,000 – 60% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 812,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 322,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up 22.9% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with key demo People 16-39.

Last night, on MasterChef Australia, our contestants had to cook an elevated favourite late-night snack to win immunity and a chance to see their creation added to Gordon’s new London restaurant’s menu at 22 Bishopsgate. Audra’s dish of ‘The Magic To a Happy Marriage’ took out the win.
