Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 31 000 and an average audience lead of 71 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 346 000 (892 000). The 1% Club UK was #6 with 1 474 000 (830 000). The Front Bar was #12 with 1 111 000 (527 000). Unfiltered was #28 with 540 000 (218 000). The special, Arj Barker: Comes Clean was #46 with 320 000 (73 000). Freddy and the Eighth was on 262 000 (81 000). Autopsy USA was on 107 000 (46 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 799 000 (1 146 000). Married at First Sight – Wednesday was #1 with 2 813 000 (1 763 000). Scrublands was #5 with 1 653 000 (460 000). 9News Late was #45 with 323 000 (162 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 150 000 (73 000). Wild Cards was on 147 000 (64 000).

Deal or No Deal was #33 with 490 000 (265 000). The Project was #20 with 717 000 (307 000). The Dog House Australia was #19 with 744 000 (350 000). Elsbeth was #30 with 528 000 (232 000). The final ever episode of NCIS: Hawaii was #44 with 334 000 (169 000). 10’s Late News was on 207 000 (121 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 198 000 (722 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 906 000 (570 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #17 with 811 000 (518 000). Melbourne Comedy Festival was #13 with 1 035 000 (292 000). ABC Late News was #49 with 314 000 (72 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 248 000 (164 000). SBS World News at 7pm on 269 000 (147 000). Alone Australia was #24 with with 646 000 (214 000). Rogue Heroes was #37 with 400 000 (159 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.813 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.763 million
  • Married at First Sight secured a BVOD audience of 478,000 – up 44.8% on the corresponding episode last year.
  • 9News was the No.1 news service with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.028 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.260 million – up 17.8% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 114,000 was up 50.0% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.799 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.146 million – up 23.1% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 121,000 – up 86.2 % on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.337 million, a Total TV National Audience of 716,000 (up 13.8% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 63,000 – 65.8% year-on-year.
  • Scrublands dominated its timeslot in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.653 million and a Total TV National Audience of 460,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 73,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV National Audience of 311,000 and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 20.0% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.
