Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 14 000 and an average audience lead of 7 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #4 with 1 709 000 (951 000). A repeat of The 1% Club UK was #3 with 1 798 000 (926 000). The Front Bar was #8 with 1 313 000 (595 000). Unfiltered was #24 with 611 000 (316 000). A repeat of Akmal: Open for Renovations was #36 with 421 000 (109 000). A repeat of Autopsy USA was on 132 000 (56 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 589 000 (1 075 000). The Hundred with Andy Lee was #7 with 1 466 000 (617 000). The Grand Tour was #12 with 1 101 000 (311 000). 9News Late was on 194 000 (122 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was on 243 000 (82 000). Wild Cards aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was on 254 000 (69 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 164 000 (86 000).

Deal or No Deal was #31 with 479 000 (248 000). The Project was #20 with 741 000 (321 000). The Dog House Australia was #21 with 720 000 (334 000). Elsbeth was #30 with 515 000 (206 000). NCIS: Origins was on 273 00 (90 000). 10’s Late News was on 162 000 (82 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 243 000 (739 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 868 000 (580 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #14 with 919 000 (600 000). Planet America was #17 with 778 000 (476 000). Big Boys was #39 with 402 000 (153 000). Mayfair Witches was on 143 000 (48 000). ABC Late News was on 171 000 (46 000).

  • 9News was the preferred news bulletin across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People and all key demographics. It was also the news bulletin of choice with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.114 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.365 million – up 21.7% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 116,000 was up 54.7% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.589 million (up 19.3% year-on-year) and a Total TV National Audience of 1.075 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 86,000 – up 45.8% on the same night last year.
  • The Hundred with Andy Lee won the primetime viewing with Brisbane with Total People and all key demos. It also won the key demo of People 25-54 across the 5 City Metro and Sydney.  It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.342 million and a Total TV National Audience of 640,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 55,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and all five metro capitals. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.512 million (up 16.6% year-on-year), a Total TV National Audience of 806,000 and a BVOD audience of 68,000 – 70.0% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 793,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 304,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up 30.3% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with key demos People 25-54 and People 16-39.

Seven wins all demos, #1 in news and entertainment

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 45.1%
