Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 82 000 and an average audience loss of 23 000 over 9News. Border Patrol was #10 with 1 089 000 (608 000). A repeat of The 1% Club UK was #4 with 1 328 000 (767 000). The movie, Pitch Perfect was #7 with 1 183 000 (274 000). Chicago Fire was #86 with 178 000 (76 000). A repeat of Motorway Patrol was #211 with 68 000 (42 000).

Sunrise – Early – 505 000 (262 000)

Beat the Chasers UK (R) – 386 000 (219 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 421 000 (966 000). RBT was #5 with 1 309 000 (588 000). A repeat of Paramedics was #12 with 1 076 000 (514 000). American Crime Story was #14 with 876 000 (142 000). Resident Alien was #106 with 143 000 (45 000).

10 News+ was #41 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #39 with 349 000 (212 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #35 with 383 000 (139 000). FBI: Most Wanted was #40 with 347 000 (130 000). A second episode of FBI: Most Wanted was #59 with 240 000 (127 000). 10’s Late News was #84 with 183 000 (105 000). An encore of 10 News+ was #81 with 187 000 (70 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 128 000 (711 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 778 000 (554 000). Crime Night was #17 with 676 000 (441 000). An encore of Spicks & Specks was #27 with 474 000 (291 000). A repeat of Utopia was #37 with 365 000 (220 000). A second repeat of Utopia was #54 with 254 000 (165 000). If You’re Listening was #103 with 151 000 (93 000). ABC Late News was #90 with 171 000 (57 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 program of the night across Australia, and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.852 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.162 million (up 5.1% year-on-year). On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 145,000 – up an impressive 85.9% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.421 million and a Total TV National Audience of 966,000 (up 7.7% year-on-year). On 9Now, it achieved a BVOD Audience of 113,000 – up 79.4% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It hit a National Total TV Reach of 1.220 million and a Total TV National Audience of 676,000 – up 4.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, it achieved a BVOD Audience of 79,000 – up a huge 88.1% year-on-year.
  • Love Island Australia was the No.1 program of the night across Australia with People 16-39. It was also the No. 1 BVOD program across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 581,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 387,000 – up a huge 64.7% year-on-year and a BVOD audience of 330,000 – up a massive 73.7% year-on-year.
  • RBT claimed a National Total TV Reach of 1.309 million and a Total TV National Audience of 588,000. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 77,000.
  • Paramedics delivered a National Total TV Reach of 1.076 million and a Total TV National Audience of 514,000. On 9Now, it reached a BVOD audience of 51,000. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney and
    Melbourne. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 729,000, and a Total TV National Audience of 310,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 48,000 –  up 37.1% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People, People 16-39 and Shoppers 18+
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Wednesday across Australia with all key demographics and Total People.
