Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 222 000 and an average audience lead of 190 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 198 000 (793 000). A repeat of World’s Most Extreme Airports was #6 with 1 340 000 (385 000). The season final of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA was #23 with 614 000 (250 000). First Dates UK was #41 with 403 000 (138 000).

The Chase Australia led in reach but lost in average audience to Tipping Point Australia.

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 532 000 (1 012 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars was #5 with 1 379 000 (509 000). The Gather Round aired in three markets and was #21 with 616 000 (144 000). The movie, Kong: Skull Island aired in the other two markets and was #27 with 528 000 (116 000).

The Project was #14 with 839 000 (354 000). I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! was #4 with 1 471 000 (762 000). A repeat of NCIS was #13 with 915 000 (265 000). A repeat of NCIS: Los Angles was #50 with 321 000 (129 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 201 000 (724 000). Back Roads was #16 with 786 000 (603 000). Better Date Than Never was #26 with 549 000 (301 000). The special, Western Stars was #28 with 516 000 (155 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 news service and program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins recorded a Total TV National Audience of 1.139 million (up 9.2% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 72,000 (up 56.5% year-on-year).
  • Tipping Point won the afternoon game show slot across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.278 million and a Total TV National Audience of 648,000, representing a huge 58.8% timeslot lift when compared to the corresponding day last year. 
  • A Current Affair was the No. 1 program at 7.00pm across Australia and 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.532 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.012 million – up 5.3% on the same night last year. Its BVOD audience was 68,000 – up 58.1% on the same night last year.  
  • Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars achieved a Total TV National Audience of 509,000. 
  • The Gather Round achieved a National Total TV Reach of 616,000 and a National Total TV Audience of 144,000. 
  • Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 791,000 and the No. 1 breakfast program in Melbourne and Brisbane. 

The 9Network was No. 1 on Tuesday across the 5 City Metro with all key demographics and Total People

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! #1 Show In 25 to 54s, Biggest Audience Since Launch, And Highest Shares Of The Season.

It’s the first tucker trial of the season and Denise Drysdale was the guest of honour at I’m A Celebrity’s DISGUST-ATION.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Tuesday, 2 April):

  • 1.47 million total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest overnight audience since launch.
  • Up 16% week-on-week.
  • #1 show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #1 7.30pm show.
  • #1 in its timeslot.
  • #1 in its timeslot in under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • Highest shares of the season.
  • Dominating shares of 40.4% in under 50s, 40.2% in 16 to 39s and 37.7% in 25 to 54s.
  • 42,000 live stream viewers, up 40% on the same episode last year.

Channel 10 was up 14% week-on-week.

With 7-day viewing, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Tuesday, 26 March) reached 1.75 million.
