Farmer Wants a Wife was #3 with 1 742 000 (1 039 000). The Marlow Murder Club was #15 with 1 004 000 (417 000). The Latest: Seven News – Budget Special was #35 with 443 000 (213 000).

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 520 000 (987 000). The Summit was #6 with 1 500 000 (523 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #18 with 864 000 (316 000). 9News Late was #31 with 492 000 (222 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 news service and program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In Sydney, the bulletin was 62,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor and in Melbourne, the bulletin was 51,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor. The combined bulletins on Tuesday night recorded a Total TV National Average Audience of 1.216 million up 3.9% on the same night last year and a BVOD Average Audience of 77,000 – up 48.1% year-on-year. 
  • The Summit registered a Total TV National Audience of 523,000 and a BVOD audience of 51,000 (up 4.1% on episode 3 last year). 

  • A Current Affair was Australia’s highest rating program at 7.00pm with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.520 million and a Total TV National Average Audience of 987,000. Its BVOD audience was 63,000 – up 40% on the same night last year. 
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.381 million, a Total TV National Audience of 706,000 – up 36.6% year-on-year and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 90.9% year-on-year. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 790,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 314,000. It registered a BVOD audience of 32,000 – an increase of 33.3% on the same morning last year.
  • Today Extra was the preferred morning program with Total People in Sydney. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 408,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 173,000.

The Cheap Seats Reaches Its Biggest Audience Of 2024.

MasterChef Australia And The Cheap Seats #1 In Their Timeslots In 25 to 54s And 16 to 39s.

The Cheap Seats continues its quiet domination at 8.40pm on Tuesday nights, hitting its biggest audience of 2024. It also attracted more younger demos in comparison to its competition, achieving huge shares in 16 to 39s (40.7%) and 25 to 54s (36%). MasterChef Australia also outperformed in 16 to 39s with its share reaching 35.5% in its 7.30pm timeslot.

On MasterChef Australia last night, Nat, Gillian, Alex and Lourdes battle it out in a Pressure Test set by Chef Liam Downes at Black Cat Truffles just outside Ballarat, Victoria.

MasterChef Australia:

  • 1.19 million total national viewers reached.
  • #1 in its 7.30pm timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • 35.5% commercial share in 16 to 39s.
  • 36,000 live stream viewers, up 18% on the same episode last year.
  • Season-to-date: Biggest BVOD audiences ever (138,000), up 25% on 2023 average.
