My Kitchen Rules was #9 with 1 664 000 (972 000). Alert: Missing Persons Unit was #20 with 857 000 (335 000). A second new episode of Alert: Missing Persons Unit was #45 with 363 000 (169 000).

  • Melbourne Cup Carnival was the No.1 program on Tuesday with Total People and All Key Demo’s across Australia.
  • Melbourne Cup Carnival – Race scored a National Total TV Reach of 2.123 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.910 million and a BVOD audience of 371,000.
  • The Block was the No. 1 entertainment program with Total People across Australia. It was also the No. 1 entertainment program of the night with People 25-54, 19-39 and Shoppers 18+. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.118 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.180 million and a BVOD audience of 175,000.
  • 9News was the No. 1 News program on Tuesday in Brisbane, No.1 News program of the night with Total People in Melbourne and the No. 1 news service of the night in Sydney. In the key demographic of P25-54 across Australia, Melbourne and Brisbane it was the No.1 news service of the night. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.215 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.354 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 109,000 was up a huge 98.2% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.260 million and a Total TV National Audience of 741,000, lifting the time slot by 92.7% when compared to the same day last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.703 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.132 million – up 17.6% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 96,000 – up 92% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 840,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 333,000. Its BVOD audience was 41,000.
  • Trump on Trial recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.512 million and a Total TV National Audience of 389,000. 
  • Love Island on 9Now recorded a BVOD audience of 112,000.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 Network on Tuesday with Total People and All Key Demo’s.

In Taskmaster last night, there were dashboard distractions, sticky situations, sabotaged sculptures, and meet cute memories.

Taskmaster Australia:

  • 792,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever. 65,000 viewers, up 5% compared with the 2023 series average.

Taking a fun look at the week that was, The Cheap Seats hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald were joined by Mel Tracina, Adam Rozenbachs and comedy royalty Eric Idle.

The Cheap Seats:

  • 808,000 total national viewers reached.
  • #1 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever. 37,000 viewers up 13% compared with the 2023 series average.

Other highlights:

  • 10 News First: Up 13% week-on-week.
