Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach loss of 22 000 and an average audience lead of 43 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 253 000 (833 000). The Americas was #12 with 1 108 000 (551 000). The Hunting Party was #22 with 661 000 (228 000). 7NEWS: Budget Special 2025 was #34 with 419 000 (195 000). The Agenda Setters was #41 with 380 000 (123 000). The Irrational was on 232 000 (75 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 839 000 (1 108 000). Married at First Sight – Tuesday was #1 with 2 729 000 (1 815 000). Scrublands was #7 with 1 276 000 (431 000). 9News Late was #32 with 464 000 (220 000). Footy Classified was on 316 000 (126 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 159 000 (70 000). Wild Cards was on 158 000 (54 000).

Deal or No Deal was #30 with 465 000 (257 000). The Project was #16 with 876 000 (355 000). Australian Survivor – Tuesday was #11 with 1 201 000 (622 000). NCIS was #27 with 580 000 (231 000). 10’s Late News was on 287 000 (120 000).

ABC

ABC News was #8 for the night. Budget 2025 – The Treasurer’s Speech was #6 with 1 295 000 (772 000). Budget 2025 – A 730 Special was #14 with 982 000 (665 000). Insiders: Budget Night Special was #13 with 1 106 000 (496 000). A repeat of The School That Tried to End Racism was #42 with 378 000 (122 000). A repeat of The ABC Of was on 163 000 (70 000). ABC Late News was on 163 000 (47 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 268 000 (161 000). SBS World News at 7pm on 282 000 (133 000). A repeat of Great Coastal Railway Journeys was #40 with 386 000 (146 000). Insight was #29 with 465 000 (181 000). Dateline was on 299 000 (126 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night across Australia and in all metro capitals with Total People and all key demographics. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.729 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.815 million – up 24.2% year-on-year. It achieved a BVOD audience of 490,000 – up 65.5% year-on-year. It was the highest rating Tuesday night ep in VOZ history against Total TV and Broadcast TV.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People and all key demos. It was also No. 1 with key demos People 25-54 and 16-39 in Adelaide. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.087 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.252 million – up 15.8% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 119,000 was up 52.6% on the same night last year. 
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.839 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.108 million – up 10.8% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 124,000 – up 69.9% year-on-year.
  • Scrublands secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.276 million and a Total TV National  Audience of 431.000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 69,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia and in the five major capital cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.365 million and a Total TV National Audience of  737,000, up 15.5% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 65,000 – up a massive 71.1% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 823,000 and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 23.5% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Tuesday with all key demos and Total People.

7NEWS on top, 7plus jumps 33% year-on-year

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 35.7%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 32.1%

·       7plus: up 33% year-on-year

·       7NEWS: #1 news program in total TV, reaches 2.07 million

·       Home and Away: reaches 1.25 million

·       Sunrise: #1 at breakfast, 26% bigger than Today
