Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 47 000 and an average audience lead of 37 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 276 000 (886 000). The Americas was #10 with 1 154 000 (570 000). 911: Lone Star was #19 with 702 000 (299 000). The Agenda Setters was #34 with 434 000 (164 000). The Irrational was on 271 000 (109 000). St Denis Medical was on 45 000 (18 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 486 000 (1 007 000). A repeat of Paramedics was #5 with 1 292 000 (552 000). A repeat of Australian Crime Stories was #11 with 955 000 (359 000). 9News Late was #45 with 344 000 (197 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was on 292 000 (108 000). Wild Cards aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was on 179 000 (67 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 181 000 (88 000).

Deal or No Deal was #30 with 481 000 (245 000). The Project was #16 with 772 000 (338 000). The Dog House Australia was #13 with 884 000 (412 000). NCIS was #23 with 615 000 (271 000). A repeat of NCIS was #25 with 548 000 (159 000). 10’s Late News was on 165 000 (100 000).

ABC

ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #6 with 1 290 000 (759 000). Foreign Correspondent was #15 with 791 000 (470 000). Creative Types with Virginia Trioli was #26 with 546 000 (334 000). Swingers: How to Win an Election was #35 with 434 000 (245 000). A repeat of Finding the Archibald was #41 with 390 000 (110 000). A repeat of The ABC Of… was on 156 000 (67 000). ABC Late News was on 171 000 (45 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 303 000 (186 000). SBS World News 7pm was on 275 000 (137 000). A repeat of Great Coastal Railway Journeys was on 313 000 (112 000). Insight was #38 with 406 000 (148 000). Dateline was on 225 000 (113 000).

NINE

  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night and No. 1 news bulletin with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.093 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.319 million – up 7.9% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 113,000 was up 18.9% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.486 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.007 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 84,000 – up 6.3% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.411 million and a Total TV National Audience of 757,000, up 11.7% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 65,000 – up a massive 41.3% year-on-year.
  • Paramedics won the 7.30pm timeslot with People 25-54 across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.292 million, a Total TV National Audience of 552,000 and a BVOD audience of 51,000,
  • Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators secured a National Total TV Reach of 955,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 359,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 29,000. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the preferred breakfast program with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Sydney. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 819,000, a Total TV National Audience of 320,000 and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 10.5% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.

Seven rules Tuesday, 7NEWS #1, Home and Away #1, 7plus #1

·       Seven #1 nationally in total TV

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 40.2%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 39%

·       7plus: #1 in BVOD, up year-on-year

·       7NEWS: #1 program, reaches 2.14 million

·       Home and Away: #1 entertainment program in total TV, reaches 1.28 million

·       Sunrise: #1 at breakfast, 31% bigger than Today

15 April 2025:
