Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 32 000 and an average audience lead of 37 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #5 with 1 322 000 (765 000). Australia’s Most Dangerous Prisoners was #10 with 999 000 (408 000). A repeat of Ron Iddles: The Good Cop was #19 with 644 000 (295 000). The Latest: Seven News was #41 with 325 000 (193 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 435 000 (964 000). RBT was #4 with 1 377 000 (624 000). RPA was #13 with 950 000 (405 000). A+E After Dark was #26 with 548 000 (211 000).

Deal or No Deal was #31 with 467 000 (251 000). The Project was #20 with 643 000 (279 000). Top Gear Australia was #12 with 978 000 (335 000). Gogglebox season final was #15 with 867 000 (450 000). An encore of Dessert Masters was #25 with 549 000 (96 000).

ABC

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 159 000 (701 000). Grand Designs Australia was #11 with 985 000 (540 000). An encore of Return to Paradise was #28 with 520 000 (197 000).

SBS

SBS World News was on 272 000 (168 000). National Parks From Above was #36 with 383 000 (142 000). Great Australian Walks was #40 with 370 000 (164 000). Hells Angels: Kingdom Come was #49 with 288 000 (66 000). A repeat of True Confessions was #50 with 286 000 (42 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 program with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.900 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.144 million – up 21.6% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 91,000 was up a massive 78.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National total TV Reach of 1.435 million and a Total TV National Audience of 964,000 – up 18.0%. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 74,000, up 60.9% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.213 million and a Total TV National Audience of 621,000, lifting the time slot by 51.1% when compared to the same day last year.
  • RBT won the 7.30pm timeslot with Total People in Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.377 million and a Total TV National Audience of 624,000 – up 2.3% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience was 52,000, up 57.6% year-on-year.
  • RPA secured a National Total TV Reach of 950,000, a Total TV National Audience of 405,000 and a BVOD audience of 33,000.
  • Today was the No. 1 breakfast program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 799,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 327,000. Its BVOD audience was 38,000 – up 40.7% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 Network across the 5 City Metro with Total People, People 25-54 and People 16-39.

Seven sweeps Thursday, 7NEWS #1 program, Home and Away tops entertainment

  • Highest commercial share of the season in 16 to 39s!
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 4% week-on-week.
